“This team”…”these players”. I feel the same way. Want this to break soon though as my patience is wearing thin. I understand that NSD isn’t until February, but the transfer portal works by different hours and why should we have any kid consider another school for NSD if we’ve got this taken care of. We should be taking our shots and creating momentum one commit at a time and snowballing on the level of talent that is interested in us. Just my opinion.

I said this a little while back but you’ll have people that will harp on every little thing Mario says and does. Why is that? Because the coach THEY wanted didn’t get hired so now they’ll magnify everything and anything they perceive as remotely negative.

They’ll tend to view everything as the glass half empty instead of full. The fact we ponied up and went after an established P5 coach and not a young G5 coach is a win in of itself. Committing massive amounts of money to the program for coaches is a win. Hiring a proven AD instead of doing it the old way is a win in of itself.

Not everyone will be happy and you can’t make everyone happy but there’s no reason to be negative on this board right now. You can point out certain things about Mario that he needs to improve but if people keep pointing to those over and over and not acknowledge the positive then they are just plain trolls and I’m sure RVA will be looking to dispatch them in the future lol

Yeah, and the judging of his recruiting really should focus on the 2023 class. Manny had no one committed for 2022. Everything we hat, including Skinner and Kelly, is gravy. They weren’t coming here with Manny as HC.

Another guy that has cut his teeth, developed good units, and is a monster on the trail. He used to be the HC at one of the best programs in America and would have us in the game for every prospect from the DMV. Very, very bright coach. I would LOVE that move.

Meanwhile their coach, Lane the QB guru and best Xs and Os coach ever, couldn’t scheme up more than 7 points with a much more talented team. Not a peep from the lane train.

Just checked his 247 recruit history and was very disappointed for a supposed “monster” on the trail… whoever UNC has Is a true monster on the DMV trail… this dude not so much.
