It should’ve been 7000 yards 64 td’s but Mario wouldn’t allow it

Cot-**** Mario never let Herbert play in the second half of games, and he instructed the Oregon running backs to snatch the ball out of Herbert's hands whenever he checked down to an unauthorized pass play...

We should all definitely read WAAAAY too much into the timing of Jan 1st.

Playoff games are on Dec 31st. Arkansas plays on Jan 1st. Championship game is Jan 10th.

You don't want to distract UGA prior to semi-finals but you also know you can't wait until Jan 10th. You'll also let Arkansas play their bowl game to avoid distractions.

Soooooooooo it's obbvvviiooouussslllyyy Schumann and Briles.

Not to make a big argument, but Erickson's "turnaround" resume was pretty strong. And Richt had a **** good overall resume too.

Mario is in the Top 3 of all-time UM "best coaching resume" hires, and all three are fairly close.

That's twice today. Testing the waters again? I told you and the mods told you. Don't reply to my posts, don't even read them. Don't even think of me. I ignore you and I want nothing to do with you. I think you are a weird, off person, and you and I have taken down enough threads here already, no? Stop trying to inch back in. You can't sit here.

I posted weeks ago I’d bet on him being in a analyst role.

Very likely. Chud has made some decent money over the years, and he doesn't need a huge payday.

But people crapping on his POSSIBLY being hired as OC? Hilarious.

Ya, back in 2001, with an unbelievably stacked roster.

It’s been two decades; time for new blood.

You want to make the "new blood" argument, that's on you, but the "not qualified" argument is insane and ridiculous.

And how do you think we got that "unbelievably stacked roster"? You think it was Coker's magnetic personality and Escalade that landed all that talent?

Are you really surprised?

No. Again, debate is fine. If Mario feels comfortable with Chud and/or Dorsey, that is his prerogative. But people losing their sanity over two UM greats being MENTIONED is pathetic.

Again, I am not advocating for either Dorsey or Chud to get the OC job. But I think either one would do an excellent job if they had the chance.

Someone posted the run to pass ratio in 2019 when Herbert was the QB. It was 53% run to 47% pass. So no this isn't just about Anthony Brown if those numbers are true. And beyond the ratio the pass game was conservative as well. Mario had the most talented passer he might very well ever coach and he still wanted to run the ball alot. The hope is that will change when we are clearly an offense not built for that at the moment.
Per game pass/run splits for historically famous ground and pound offenses:

2020 Alabama: 32.7 pass / 36.6 run
2018 Oklahoma: 28.6 pass / 37.3 run
2017 Oklahoma: 30.9 pass / 39.0 run
2021 Ole Miss: 32.8 pass / 44.7 run
2019 Oregon: 31.8 passes / 36.1 runs

These offenses were clearly 3 yards and a cloud of dust, lets hope Mario stays away from these as much as possible. Everyone knows Lincoln Riley and Lane Kiffin are some of the most archaic offensive minds in football.

Jan 1st..... Brace yourselves for "The announcements"

I am a minority here but I’m more concerned about who we hire as a DC more so than the OC. A good/great DC is more difficult to find in today’s game. Either way, we aren’t making the playoffs if we hit on one and not the other.
Used to be the other way
