Anez Cooper and Matthew McCoy should sign with Miami per 247. Iuli as well. So 3 big dudes on the o-lines, good stuff.

Edit: Anez is 6'5" and 352 lbs (and athletic, Auburn wants him i think, or did)
McCoy is 6'5" 278 lbs (Florida wants him)
Iuli is 6'5" and 315 (beat USC, others)

Finally some actual size and athleticism
Think it was sent elsewhere but here’s Anez Cooper’s workout from a few days ago. Mind you he’s moving this well at a listed height and weight of 6’6 352.

Road grater if I’ve ever seen one. It starts in the trenches!!

Brady was at L$U for barely one recruiting cycle and for all the issues with the program which led to his hiring, it was a school that was in significantly better shape than our program right now.
Also, Louisiana kids tend to be more loyal to their hometown/state school than soFla kids are to UM.
But they still had several recruiting dynamos on their staff.
That’s not an answer. How much recruiting did Brady have to do? I’m shocked as to how much he has supposedly expressed this view when he hasn’t had to do it all that much (presumably). It makes you wonder what the real holdback is. I get that he was groomed in the NFL under Sean Payton. But not all pathways are direct and sometimes the road jogs a bit.

Any thought that he is concerned that if his experience as a college OC is anything less than stellar than his career is going to the ****ter? This so the only plausible reason IMO. It’s like being our OC is beneath him given his plan.

Perhaps he doesn’t believe that he is to blame for the Carolina debacle (there are always 3 sides to a story but Rhule dropping him seemed a little premature) and so this is truly a step backwards. But perception is reality. And to the original point, what is the best way to get back to being a NFL OC? Being a QB coach in the NFL (when you have been a WR coach in the last) or being an OC for a team with a QB that has the talent to make you look good? I think the latter but I bleed orange and green, so I am less than impartial.

He had decent protection on multiple downs and 1) threw directly into a DL, 2) threw to an in bounds WR behind the LOS, 3) threw a pick.

That’s the football equivalent of falling down a flight of stairs.
Yeah y’all’s defense played well aside from Kupp being Kupp and Tartt dropping a gimme that could’ve changed the game (gotta think he won’t be coming back next season).

The one I feel the most for is Deebo, guy played out of his mind all season. He deserves a better QB. Respect from a Cowboys fan, y’all kicked our asses that’s for sure lol

I was Team Mario until today, off the wagon now. I get that T-Rob went to Bama and McClendon went back to his alma mater, but to not have contingency plans or the ability to make other hires reeks of resource mismanagement and arrogance.
Ahh you must be a gator troll! Right?

Guessing he could be thinking he could go the Dorsey route and in a couple of years get another shot at OC.
Except he has never coached QBs or played the position. I just don't see the Bears who just hired an OC who is QB coach hiring Joe Brady who has never played or coached the postion to coach Fields. I think this all comes from some random Bears twitter post saying Brady could still be in play as QB coach. Not even sure the person who posted it knows that Joe Brady is not a QB coach.

If this goes on much longer, someone is going to write a parody of We Didn't Start the Fire, called "Mario Should be Fired" and just list the names of all the coaches involved
