4th q performance reminiscent of SB LIV, pass rush notwithstanding. Was thinking Shanahan would really have to spoon-feed JG on that last drive to move into fg range.

He had decent protection on multiple downs and 1) threw directly into a DL, 2) threw to an in bounds WR behind the LOS, 3) threw a pick.

That’s the football equivalent of falling down a flight of stairs.

Solid question as he wasn’t even an on field coach who could go off site to recruit… he essentially could only recruit on campus with whatever visitors that showed up that weekend

I know the narrative you and others want is we're missing on a lot of guys but there's only a couple people that could accept Oc or Dc so far. I know this post won't help with some peoples thinking but it's the truth. Carry on.

Don’t think we’re missing left snd right. Think we def missed on a few dudes but that’s gonna happen. The length of time combined w losing coaches takes a toll

At 1500 pages and 8 weeks, I am getting the sense that some here are not glossing over this part….

Yes. Harsin is a Mormon or something like that and it’s just not a cultural fit at all. Shocked kids are transferring to go play there. It’s a dumpster fire

Chicken **** football. The 3rd and fourth and short on Rams side of the field was putrid. Shanahan turns to mush when it matters most.
 
Too early to tell why Austin Davis decided not to stay in Auburn. Reading stories he asked for some time off due to some personal issues and he wants to stay in NFL. Someone also mentioned may not have known how much recruiting is involved.

Dude is from Miramar.

He can just recruit in his basic area from MIAMI GARDENS TO Hollywood and be good money.Worst his HS coach is at a good program in GA as well..and multiple guys he knows are current HC or position coaches at s.fla schools.

I think its overstated. I dont remember who Lashlee recruited other than 1 qb a year and Richt son used all the frequent flyer miles for some west coach coochie in Oregon.
 
Anyone interested in Derek Dooley? He was part of the Joe Judge firing casualty list in NY. I heard he once coached with Sabag. Must be good.

Brady could call D$. He’s got a list of every possible SFL QB from now until 2056.

He’s tracking bloodlines like it’s the SFL version of Underworld…

Brady was at L$U for barely one recruiting cycle and for all the issues with the program which led to his hiring, it was a school that was in significantly better shape than our program right now.
Also, Louisiana kids tend to be more loyal to their hometown/state school than soFla kids are to UM.
But they still had several recruiting dynamos on their staff.
