Too many old people here that have nostalgia glasses on to even consider agreeing with you.
You, my man, may have created the next argument for this coming week of no news. Well done.

What is considered ‘old’ and who is technically ‘not old’? There was a time people around my parts would argue Larry vs. Michael (some people still claim Larry)…. So at 49, I guess I am old in your mind. I just recovered from the Tropic of Cancer but I still feel young.

Briefly, guys like Larry and Kobe were assassins.
Magic was on another level, someone mentioned Barkley who was an undersized animal. I am
Obviously leaving out a ton of other guys but the Michael and Lebron debate is a generational debate that will never have closure.

Lebron is a freak of nature in my eyes. He has been beamed down from another planet. Jordan was so good that it is not beyond comprehension that he actually went to the crossroads and sold his sole to Lewis Cyphier. He was just that good.

***Larry Bird highlights are sick
To watch. Check them out. I am an ‘old’ Masshole so take that under advisement.

Lebron v Mike is a great debate, tough to find a winner. Young v Old is another good one. What is old to you?

Those in the Lebron is number two camp are not wrong, but when you say of all time, I look at my lifetime. Not including the Russell’s and Chamberlain’s on my list because I wasn’t around. There’s at least 5 above Lebron just in my lifetime. Playing in a much tougher nba than he does. It was a different game, he could have played that style too I guess? But Mike’s not clanking free throws with game on the line, Kobe wants that last shot, Etc. No clutch gene evident with Lebron. The lane doesn’t just open up for a Lebron layup/dunk against the 80’s/90’s knicks, pistons, rockets, lakers, celts, **** any off them. Watered down, soft NBA and being a great player has kept him near the top this long in HIS era.

When you talk about true GOATs, like a legit GOAT in a sport as popular and prevalent as basketball, there is zero margin for error. Zero.

What Bron did in the finals vs Dallas removed him from the GOAT discussion forever. Sorry. Just the way it is. You’re allowed to have off-nights, you’re even allowed to lose a series. It’s a team game. So Jordan doesn’t get the nod simply because he was 6-0 in the finals. But you can’t do whatever the fvck it was Bron did in that series, on that stage. It was like he was kidnapped or being held hostage. So, he’s obviously great, he might even be the 2nd best player ever, but you can’t put that on film for multiple games on that stage and be the GOAT.
Zero. Agent Zero!!

No clutch Gene when he has more playoff game winners than both Kobe and Michael? Stop it.
