This reeks of "back in my day" nonsense.

LeBron has statistically been the best clutch player for going on a decade and the ultimate proof is coming back from 3-1 against a 73-9 team in the Finals.

As great as Jordan was, his team was always favored in the Finals. When he retired, his team still went to the ECFs without him while LeBron's teams fell off the face of the Earth without him carrying them to the Finals every year.

As has been said, there's an argument there, but those who think Jordan is clearly better are... to put it nicely... completely clueless.
Both are 2 different players from 2 different eras but I’d say mj is better but its not some crazy gap between then but its clear enough imo.

It’s laughable, because defense in todays NBA is nonexistent. To be a first team guy, you only have to play it every night and love playing that side of the ball. Real talk
If you try on defense you’re considered dirty or being a gnat lol. How dare you fight through picks and have pride on D. LBJ constantly quits on plays then stares holes through his teammates lol. It’s comical. I watch condensed GSW games on You Tube becuae I appreciate Stephs amazing skills and unreal difficulty he plays at. Other than that I watch no Nba until the playoffs , and even with that I watch certain series an that’s also condensed games. Btw James Harden has set basketball back 20 years with his BS.

Didn't Larry bird win a 3 point contest without taking his warm-ups off or somethin funny like that? He was welllllll before my time, just remembered he was a sniper

100%. He walked into the locker room with his warmup jacket on, looked at everyone and said “who’s getting 2nd place tonight”, never took his warmup jacket off, and his last shot of the contest to walk-off win he put 1 finger up before it went down and turned around. An absolute assassin.

Facts!! Every team LeBron left instantly became one of the worst teams in the NBA. Literally. And I’m talking the year after a finals appearance.

Everyone that played in the 80s would tell you Larry was arguably the top NBA player of the decade. He was so good at everything.

He could shoot, he could drive, he could play defense, he could pass. He was the best player in the NBA from 1984-1986 no doubt winning 3 MVPs in a row.

Here is the 3 point with his warmup on and walk off

He also played an entire game left handed. I think he scored 40 or something like that. Bird was amazing.

He said he was saving his right hand for the next night lmao. There was a game he was so hot that the opposing team (the hawks) bench was falling on the floor over how insane it was. Literally. Multiple guys got fined by the team lmaooooo

Soon this thread will become just like the NBA, no one paying attention because it’s a shadow of what made it great.
Hoops sucks and Bron ruined it with his turning it into madden by creating super teams. BTW, I’d say the teams sucked after he left because he ruins them. Look at Roster makeup when he arrives vs where he leaves. I mean look at LA right now. That roster is garbage and will only be worse when he leaves. But when he showed up they had some legit young talent. CLE the second time, same thing. He basically chased Kyrie out.
I don’t care what metric you use, the NBA is the SJW of sports. Acts like it’s important and everyone loves it. But the actual ratings tell a different story. And Lebrun and ESPN is the leader of that.
