There isn't a head coach in the country who, if given the option, would hire Kendal Briles as his OC over Dan Mullen. Not one. That aside, you mentioned how important recruiting is, as well as culture, well Briles is a terrible recruiter and was considered a major tool by his players at FSU. There was a running joke among the players about how he started every sentence with, "my dad..." I don't believe Mario is seriously considering him. But if he's hired, I'll wish for the best. I personally think he'll be a disaster but I've been wrong many times.

You're wrong. A lot of coaches won't even interview Mullen. Non-starter. He's a great offensive mind but sometimes the juice isn't worth the squeeze with some people. Many people don't like him and see him as a culture killer. Funny, have you heard even a whisper of Miami having an interest in him? I have not. And I even did a search of posts by the key insiders here to make sure as well. The market is speaking.

Briles has been extremely run heavy this past season. Pass game is pretty dink and dunk when he does. Not sure if he would be taking advantage of TVD the way Brady would

I mean, Mario worked w Lane Kiffin, who is infinitely more insufferable than Mullen (and thats saying something) and somehow didn't stuff him in a locker (Saban would've allowed it too). Mario is about results. We'd have a top 10 offense.

Hes not coming. We can agree on that. Hes just on alot of our wishlists given how prolific his offenses have been.

But if its a choice between Briles and Mullen (its not), Mullen is the obvious choice. No HC would realistically choose Briles in this scenario, who is neither a better recruiter or better playcaller.

Mario didn't hire Kiffin, Saban did. It's Mario and the rest of the staff's job to fall in line. Also, Kiffin is cool. He's a ****y ******* but he's a dude. Which is why half this board was clamoring for him to come here. Man love. Know what else he's also doing? Winning. Mullen is a fricking weirdo goofball. That gets real old real fast in a locker room. Mullen just went like 2-6 in the SEC and got fired before the season. ****, just his weirdo wife making out with the entire team before each game should make you go wtf. Miami is suddenly big time. Mario has a very, very specific culture. And he demands that everyone work as hard as he does. Mullen under Mario... lol. You do know when Mullen interviewed here they couldn't get him out of the building fast enough, right? *******.

Like I said in a previous post, there is a reason right now you aren't seeing Mullen's name anywhere, especially with Miami. He's a culture cancer. It's not worth it. The only "people" at Miami who want him are the burger flippers, accountants, and garbagemen who post opinions under pseudonyms on message boards like this.
