You’re right. I’m sorry. Nick Saban, the best coach of all-time, 9 days after losing a national championship, was at dinner with Ms. Terry earlier and said, “Honey, you remember that team who hasn’t been good since we were at LSU? Yeah, the one we spread wide as the Grand Canyon in Atlanta this year. Well, they’ve got some 2023 recruits coming to their school this weekend. Which ones? I have no earthly idea. Who cares? I'll pick through them when I get to them. But they're coming, and I'm terrified, so what should I do??"

He was shaking in fear as he buttered his 7th roll of the night from Texas Roadhouse, and Ms. Terry exclaimed, "I know, Nicky!! You can take their Defensive Backs coach. That'll show them!! And make sure you do it right now, a few days before the event we don't care about, just to hit em where it hurts!"

Take that money you're gonna spend on Thin Mints and buy a ******* clue.
I fvck with the Samoas

He grew up in Miami and Saban is going to micromanage the fvck out of him. He’s not getting a co-DC title there, either.

So here is the part where I reluctantly, in an indirect manner, give kudos to Saban and that program.....lots of coaches want to work with and under Saban these days...not only do you get to recruit the top players, you get to play for national championships and, most importantly, you get to belong to an extensive network of coaches not only on the field but to those working in the back offices...a network including coaches from all over the country, from high school to NFL...it is to college ball what MIT is to engineering schools...so, yeah, it is good that we have alot of money to spend on staff, and we will/should get someone good because of this, but this doesn't guarantee that we won't lose coaches to other programs, especially Alabama....now excuse me while I wash my hands and clean my keyboard.

If his replacement is just as good it won’t matter...

However, TRob is a recruiting dynamo on his own, put him with a money machine like Bama & he’ll be a pretty rough fight on the trail.

Hope we’re ready to spend big this upcoming crootin’ season, because the 23 class is thin locally at CB.

Gonna need somebody who can land capable 4-star corners on a national scale.
Well Bama is going to land those two 5 Star CB's from Alabama in 2023 regardless. CIS will crown TROB cuz of some weird obsession with him even though its practically a given anyways. Bama will always get theres. Fully agree on the rest of your comment though

I doubt Raymond even considers Miami.

Personally I would tell Cristobal nawww bro you had your chance.

From Bama 247 board: We have confirmed through a source that Miami defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson is a candidate for Alabama's cornerbacks coach opening. That same source confirmed he has been offered the job. Robinson is expected to talk to Mario Cristobal about his role at Miami, and it's our understanding that an official decision has not been made yet. We are monitoring the situation closely and will update you guys as soon as we hear more.

We turned away Corey Raymond?
If Sabag poached TRob you know **** well there’s a method to his madness. He’s obviously a great recruiter and taking him from Mario reduces Miami’s recruiting prowess. Sabag probably doesn’t care is he can coach DB’s - as that’s his “specialty - only that he can recruit them.

As far as Raymond is concerned, that’s what’s been let out the bag. If Mario turned away Raymond thinking TRob was staying and he up and leaves, that’s pretty underhanded.

Live look at Ol’ Nicky going up the backdoor on Mario at the 11th hour.

All those plates are Mario's candidates for OC and DC, and now DB, that he hasn't gone through yet. Give it time.
