Trob is telling recruits he is staying. Why announce someone who is currently on the staff kept their job they haven’t done that for anyone.

Bama is trying to hire him, but think people are more assuming bc it is Bama that he will take the job.
Sure but coaches from other programs have probably been negatively recruiting against us for weeks in this regard

Gotta say this process is almost a breath of fresh air. Manny was so concerned about public image and media narrative, it felt like a campaign manager was behind every announcement. Mario clearly does not give a **** about public image, this is all about getting the best coaches regardless of what timeline anyone expects.
I honestly don't give a rat's a$$ what the media thinks, or the national perception of it all. No one remembers the lead up to a hire unless it's historic or an absolute ****show (like Schiano at Tenn), heck you don't hear anyone really talking about Manny anymore.

What I do care about, is the fact that we're heading into the biggest 2023 recruiting weekend in recent memory, absolutely LOADED with talent...and we have half our staff filled out. (I'm including T-Rob). It's just a very easy thing to negatively recruit against, and yes - I realize there's tons of time since it's the 2023 class and we will probably have our staff fully hired by the time ESD comes around next December (I kid). But...while it's refreshing to see the positive signs regarding the detailed vetting process, coupled with the commitment to securing big-name coaches as coordinators with a hefty salary to show off, there's a balance between being thorough, and indecisive. Certainly this isn't helping with a handful of 2022 recruits (particularly the portal) as well.

I admit at this point, impatience is increasing. If a DC has been decided, why hasn't he been announced? What could you be possibly waiting for, other than to announce both hires on the same day? Just feel like at this point in the search, it would be more beneficial to start naming names (if he or other position coaches are indeed hired at this point) rather than to let this drag out even further.

T-Rob was the last domino as far as the coaching staff being announced goes. There’s a reason why @Cribby has been saying for days that the DC hire was wrapped up
You think the OC is wrapped up?

What does TRob have to do with announcing other coaches? We've already announced a few even without full clarity on TRob.

Relax man, Mario is one of the best recruiters in the country. If anyone knows how to handle recruiting, it’s Mario. He is going to clean up that 2023 class.

I know it may be an odd way of announcing but could it be possible the rest of our staff is just waiting to be announced this weekend in front of all those recruits? I mean what better way to announce to the country than at the biggest recruiting weekend of the year and start off the new staff with a BANG.

Holy ****, that’s an assumption. You could be right, but you could also simply be connecting dots that don’t exist.

Yeah he definitely is, no question about it. Skinner should have showed us all what he can do on just a moment's notice. Still can't help but acknowledge there's more negative consequences that arise from the lack of hires, than positive outcomes.

I wouldn’t count on this, it’s not very likely.
