Honestly thought that was already a done deal.

Other than Mallory’s Texas Two Step development, he’s been pretty solid. And even Mallory finally started putting it together (again) at the end of the season.

Have to admit I’m still frustrated he didn’t get Arroyo in earlier and more often though.
Mallory and TVD worked at that. They practiced on the side …..

This is generous, no? Bolden and Hall regressed under TRob. He moved on to Williams, Williams, and Kinchens, who played well for freshmen, but didn't necessarily outperform their expectations. Not saying he's a bad coach, but safeties were underwhelming if anything.

Regressed ? Hall has always been suspect . BB was hurt most of the year and tbh a tad overrated, not exactly the hardest worker either. Not sure the obsession here to **** on T Rob. Is he a bit of a drama queen ? Yes but the guy can coach and one of the best recruiters in the country.

Like me and @htownkidd both said.
Dan Mullet. Lol
Mullen is my top choice.

Goofy *** weirdo. But one thing about him -- his offense is gonna do work. Lots of coaches say it, but he truly builds around the players on roster.

Jacurri would also benefit from him as well (though I doubt if we do hire Mulen he'll be here for more than 2 years).

Patriots scheme would be very difficult to implement in college. They adjust scheme almost weekly and requires smart players who get better as season goes along. In college you don't have time for the build up.
I was going to say the same thing Lance. We need a difficult to learn Pure Pro Style here again like we need another hole in our heads. Don't need these young guys thinking too much.

So.... on that list @Cribby I know ppl may not like it, but Ken Dorsey OC/QBC?

I'm staying to warm up to it.

Maybe because I've seen Ponce and Coley on that list. 😂😂😂🤦🏿‍♂️

Brady
Briles
Dorsey

That’s the names I’ve always heard. When the Mario thing started to heat up Dorsey was mentioned, Mario always wanted to work with him. He thinks a lot of Ken. I’m just not sure it Ken wants to leave the nfl. Maybe coaching alongside Mario could make that happen.

Hopefully Muschamp doesn’t make a run at T Rob since he’s going to be running the D iat UGA

I think him running the D next year is up In the air. You don’t think Kirby would hand the reigns over to Schumann for next year?

If Brady gets a another shot at a OC job in the NFL. He has to take it. It would be almost impossible for him to get another chance if he goes back to college as OC and dont duplicate the success he had at LSU.

Also he really has to hate recruiting. I know that was a rumor but I’m really starting to believe it.

I think the problem with each of those guys - all good choices imo - is that they’re all likely to be one year rentals.

If KD has his eyes on OC spots in the nfl, he’s gonna get offers imo. I suppose the allure of doing it in college first so that he gains experience is a good thing but I don’t see that experiment going past 1 year. Imo.

I just can’t see him taking a college OC job. Dude knows his offense and how to call plays, I’ll give him that. If we had the chance to hire him, it’s one of those things like yeah I guess. We kind of have to lol. But he is such a freaking goober. I’d just have to swallow my pride for the good of the team lol

I feel like he could get an NFL OC job anyways or even another college HC job.
