I know we’re excited about Patridge, but I’m over here keeping my fingers crossed about the possibility of Schumann 😭
I'm sure they know he'll have plenty of options so I'm sure Mario will have them too .....just in case. It's just rumors until we see the final staff.

Too many variables in the coaching game. One call changes everything

I think it would be more like
Partridge DE/OLB
Hurtt Interior DL
Schumann DC/ILB
Robinson DB

Still think it would be weird having Schumann here and none of "his" guys
true but does schumann have any "guys"? honest question since he's 31 and anyone that fits that bill is honestly more of a kirby guy then a schumann guy as kirby has brought him along for the ride

Might have to compete with A&M and Clemson for D-coordinator, and potentially LSU and Clemson for OC.

Let’s put our money where our mouths are, because I have a feeling those three schools will be looking at a lot of the same candidates.

I can't believe I'm saying this based upon the last 15 years, but I feel like we stand a great chance to beat those schools in a competition for the best candidate

location and new $$

I’m excited for the first time in a while; we can go toe-to-toe with them. I would argue we’re in a better spot than Clemson (QB being a big reason).

Just need to show these candidates the plan and the $$

I think it depends on what happens at OC/QB.

We're allowed 10 assistant coaches. If we get Brady as a pure OC, we'll need another slot for a QB coach, which i think eliminates a separate slot for CB coach. If we get an OC/QB coach, then the spot that is saved can be used for Chance.

Sample staff with Brady:
OC - Brady
QB - Ponce or Coley
WR - McClendon
RB - Hickson
TE - Field
OL - Mirabal
DC - Schumann
DL - Partridge
LB - Hurtt
DB- Robinson

Grabbing Riley as an OC/QB means we wont need Ponce or Coley, freeing up a spot for Chance at CB.

I think our offensive staff may look something like this (pure speculation) :

OC/WRs - Brady
RB - McClendon
QB - Coley or Ponce
TE - Field

I'm sure he does as analysts, so no one that would excite us. similar to Banda taking Devine & Zuckerman.

Hurtt could be OLB too and partridge as DL.

No thanks on half back pass and ponce. Field will move to off field. He has no business coaching TEs
