I don't think we'd have to outbid for bama on this one assuming he and Saban are mutually parting ways. Besides, he knows there are just a few schools that are willing to pay that

I’ve heard (since 2020 season) that he and Saban might mutually want to go different directions. As far as Miami smoke right now.. no idea.

Alabama isn’t as talented as they used to be and it’s not going to get better next year especially in the trenches… aside from Will Anderson. If we offered a raise and autonomy of the defense that he doesn’t exactly get at Alabama, you never know. I wouldn’t make that move but I’ve never worked for Saban so who knows

I’d rather pay Golding $2M if it’s gonna cost $2M for either of those guys. I would say they’re both $1.5M range depending on what Georgia does with Schu and Muschamp and who gets the actual DC role.

Absolutely. I need to see Belk do it for more than 1 year.. especially factoring in that Houston schedule. Their D was very strong early on against bad teams and then they started getting figured out a little bit. Looked better against a bad Auburn offense so I don’t put stock in that.

OLB at Miami under Diaz is striker = nickel = hybrid safety

Also some rumors that in going in a different direction, Saban prefers to bring back his buddy Pruitt. But yes - nothing more than just rumors at this point.
