My money is we get the announcement of the new custodial staff for the locker room
The University of Miami is proud to announce hiring of “Ramirez Cleaning Service” as Head of Custodial Cleaning. Ramirez Cleaning Services joins Miami after over 75 years of excellence in serving the South Florida community.

Welcome to the U, RCS!

I hope we pay them more than Donna Shalala paid her janitors...

Donna Shalala single-handedly RUINED the UM janitorial program. Left it in shambles. It was great under Foote, but Donna slashed the budget and put Blake James in charge of the custodians...

Some people think that America invented the blues
And few people doubt that America is the home of the blues
As the bluesicians have gone all over the world carrying the blues message
And the world has snapped its fingers and tapped its feet right along with the blues folks
But, the blues has always been totally American
As American as apple pie
As American as the blues
As American as apple pie
The question is why?
Why should the blues be so at home here
Well, America provided the atmosphere

Red and white, blue suede shoes, I'm Uncle Sam, how do you do?
Gimme five, I'm still alive, ain't no luck, I learned to duck.
Check my pulse, it don't change. Stay seventy-two come shine or rain.
Wave the flag, pop the bag, rock the boat, skin the goat.
Wave that flag, wave it wide and high.
Summertime done, come and gone, my, oh, my.
I'm Uncle Sam, that's who I am; Been hidin' out in a rock and roll band.
Shake the hand that shook the hand of P.T. Barnum and Charlie Chan.
Shine your shoes, light your fuse. Can you use them ol' U.S. Blues?
I'll drink your health, share your wealth, run your life, steal your wife.
Wave that flag, wave it wide and high.
Summertime done, come and gone, my, oh, my.
Back to back chicken shack. Son of a gun, better change your act.
We're all confused, what's to lose?
You can call this all the United States Blues.
Wave that flag, wave it wide and high.
Summertime done, come and gone, my, oh, my.

I don't know that this is a good assumption.

Say, for instance, that Schumann is definitely coming. As in, Kirby knows, that's why he flipped back to Lanning calling plays through tonight. And maybe Muschamp is the playcaller going forward, and Schumann wants to spread his wings and soar like an eagle. All that is required is...people shutting up. Maybe Mario told Dan and the other defensive position coaches. Maybe UGa knows. But as long as the circle gets no bigger than that, you CAN have both "decision that is done" and "no leaks" at the same time.

Now, could a Mastro "family situation" still arise? Sure, I guess. But it IS possible that Mario has decided, but the word has not leaked out. Unless and until someone sends you a photo of Mario manning a UM booth at the coaching convention with a "Good Coordinator Positions Still Available" sign.
I believe Schumann is a notable exception given his role in tonight's game. Mario would absolutely allow Schumann to announce his departure when appropriate, which likely takes place after the game so as not to distract his players. The same would hold true for other similarly situated coaches. I would consider such an example as a "done deal."

With that said, my hunch (that and $4 will buy you a latte) is that our coordinators are not coaching in tonight's game and negotiations are still being finalized i.e., the hiring is not done. (See D$'s post #9,507).

This is just pure speculation and makes for entertaining forum banter. The bottom line is that Mario will announce the coordinators when he is ready. There isn't a **** thing any of us can do about it (but that doesn't stop us from whining and guessing).

I’m excited about this hire. They apparently have impeccable recruiting practices. While other companies struggle to recruit these guys are scaling at an incredible rate.

Our janitor/sq ft blue chip ratio is going to be elite. 1 janitor for every 5 sq ft. Looking forward to the before/after photos once these guys are done with their daily cleaning.

It’s getting kind of boring. I’m ready for the grand finale.
I follow this thread just for entertainment at this point. Nothing is getting out. Everyone is guessing. My only actual expectation for when OC/DC hires will be made is before the end of the month.

Dorsey and Belk. Just taking forever to get all the commas, periods, exclamation marks and etc corrected on contracts.

I want guys who have all five tools, outdoor custodial, bathrooms, dining rooms, offices, and dormitories. Real team players, not these guys who are looking for NIL opportunities...

Hey @rok, any truth to the rumor that your seed service submitted an application to the new staff?

I think the board would love to know what kind of fresh and virile output you expect. Take as much time as you need.
