I stand 100% by what I said earlier.

Anyone who doesn't get this, I can't help.

As one man said: "you can't fix stupid"
Personally I don't know what you said. Don't know if I ever commented on it or not and that's why you're choosing to say something to me. What I will say as an aside is you're absolutely right as most Floridians will show you definitely can't fix stupid. By the way the link you posted is simply a bunch of letters and gibberish. Sortve pointless to post a link not synced to anything.

Lol. He isn't coming here if it's not to call plays. So he's be co-DC and play caller - aka exactly what Dorsey would be seeing as how McClendon is already named Co-OC...

So whatever your argument was it's not very sound
Not saying what the stance is here but usually when there's these co titles they are just that. Titles... More often than not it's one individual who makes the calls in live action. The other simply has input in dead time. Time outs, game planning etc. Obviously there is exceptions. Just few and far in-between

I agree. Just pointing out is dumb to say you don't want guys with no experience play calling, then make an exception for Schumann with the asterisk that he will technically "only" be Co-DC....meanwhile Dorsey by the very fact McClendon has Co-OC title would be in exactly the same position lol....

Anyways. Do you know the OC/DC and the rest of the position coaches already or is the staff not fully complete? I get they're waiting for the right time for everybody to announce, but I just wanna know if there's still any dominos on the table....

Every time I read "gibberish" I think about the one interview Charles Manson gave.

Well, all of them were... you know what, never mind.

Cool thanks.

Glad to hear it sounds like Coordinators are locked up it's strictly about timing.

i assume Mastro was also going to be given the title of run game coordinator, which is actually I think what would have been the biggest benefit of bringing him in. He seems like the kind of dude that will eventually be a great off-field person to have around. I assume we've took another swing at Seider for RB coach.

I assume the off field coaches will take the longest anyways. After all unless there's a contractual reason ($$ offset) most big name hires in an off field role would be guys that weren't satisfied at their current offers - which there's still some big position to fill like potential Michigan....(hopefully Harbough goes to Vegas). So I think that could be another month for them to all be sorted out ..

I think we would be extremely lucky to land KD as OC. For the life of me I can’t see a reasonable argument against it. You would have to be an idiot to be against it. And for the record I don’t think we will land him.

He has not called plays before. That wouldn't be as big an issue if the HC was a offensive play caller by trade.

He hasn't been around the college game is a loooong time. It has changed so much. These kids have so many distractions now, and these coaches don't get to spend all day with them like in NFL. It's a big difference. You need to be able to be as simple as possible yet still do something that causes defense issues.

Can it work? Yes, but it's a risk.
