Ivins taught him how to hedge well
Hopefully he learned from david lakes mistakes. I happen to like listening to lake but his January 3rd podcast he said he expects the RB coach from Oregon to take the RB job here and that same day the man came out and said he wasn’t leaving the west coast.

Reid must have been extremely lucky for 20+ years to somehow always have a really good QB coach developing QBs for him with zero gaps.

Or... you're just here to argue with asinine points. I wonder which one is more likely.
i’m just here to point out the hypocrisy with you dorsey boys, and judging by the fact that you still can’t tell me the questions brady has that dorsey doesn’t, i’ve succeeded.

Pushing aside the unprovable. The whole best developer of QBs stuff. Dorsey isn’t a long term option. Much like Brady he could very well spend a year on staff and leave if the NFL came calling. So yes for a guy who is gonna spend at maximum two years at Miami as an OC he better hit the ground running calling plays and scoring points. That is most important. We’re not gonna be talking about a long line of Miami QBs developed by Dorsey.
I'm not sure that's true. Dorsey hasn't just jumped around at every opportunity for a promotion. He's been on staff in the NFL for 10 years. 7 with the Panthers and 3 with the Bills. I think if he decides to come back and OC/QB coach in college and he gets paid well, he could be a long term OC here.

Unlikely. College OC is a stepping stone job. If the only reason Dorsey would take the job is because it is his alma mater and not because he likes being in college he'll leave for a promotion in the NFL and wouldn't take very long. Lets say Daboll gets an NFL HC job and he wants Dorsey to call plays for him you think he's turning that down? Dorsey is also 40 and he's never risen above QB coach. About time for that progression to begin.

When the Diaz stuff was coming to a boil in November he was asked and threw out there that he'd love to come back to Miami to be a HC if the opportunity arose. So he has ambitions. Being the long-term OC at his alma mater probably isn't part of the 5-year plan.

I was just reading up on Kafka as I'm sitting here wondering about Dorsey as a candidate.

Kafka is a young guy like Dorsey who's an NFL QB coach that's had his guy rise to a Pro Bowler and superstar under his watch. He's also worked under one of the brightest offensive minds in the NFL during this time, and now he's his passing game coordinator.

Would people be happy if we hired Kafka as our OC?
Would be interesting to see The Metamorphosis

in fairness he was not the only one. Apparently he was set to accept the job until something unforeseen happened that was health related with either him or his family. Stuff like this does happen. And the term "expects" is somewhat more modest than what Ferman did. LOL

I'm amused that you making insane points that nobody would ever make is you thinking you're proving hypocrisy.

So you don't know? Ok. Neither do I.

I agree it's unlikely.. But we don't know.

I'll just say if he comes as an OC here now, then I believe it's because he's making a commitment to Mario and the U. He is on the verge of becoming an NFL OC. He was in talks LAST year about becoming an NFL OC. For him to just abandon that to me implies a change of direction/mindset.

Are you suggesting we have a thread where we expose duplicate accounts?

The top 13 duplicate accounts on CIS. Number 6 will surprise you!
"You will want to see this new law passed in <insert state name> if you have duplicate accounts on Canes Insight!"

As a side note, living in Washington DC, you get to see ads that say things like 'The 10 best cities to retire in Washington, DC'
