what if BMac is coming regardless and we don’t know WR or RB, until they figure out if Brady is coming (then b mac to RB) or if another OC/QB Coach comes (BMac takes WR)

Hurrt has been the DL coach and assistant HC for the Seahawks for 4 years…and prior to that an assistant DL coach for the bears. And he was GREAT at Louisville!

But in your mind, the college guy with a less impressive resume would be a grand slam but the NFL guy underwhelming??

Is he elite? If you say so I'll take your word for it. I would rather have Partridge over Hurtt. Now if you disagree based on the fact that Hurtt has been in Seattle for 4 years and in the NFL for the last 7 then we can agree to disagree. I don't think that necessarily makes him a better choice. I don't necessarily think that Brady is a better choice than Briles just because Brady had 2 years with the Panthers and I really like Brady.

It is true that I may have some preconceived notions about Hurtt based on his time at Louisville but I'm open to discussing those. I don't understand you're reaction to my opinion being so strong when you consider that the mention of Hurtt possibly getting the job wasn't exactly met with universal approval on this board. I'm willing to revisit my stance on Hurtt but we can always agree to disagree.

He would be a big deal for the Gates. No way around that.

On the bright side, hes a show cause waiting to happen. Hed have them in ncaa trouble within 3 years.
