There is smoke the past 2 days with Brady again centered on a few articles linking Caleb Williams to Miami; however, I am not buying into the hype. If Brady was the choice, we would have heard by now given that he is currently unemployed.

I don't think it is Briles either as we probably would have heard something now that Arky's season is over. That leaves Dorsey as the next man up. Not sure how I feel about Dorsey. Adding Chud as a "grey beard" analyst to mentor KD makes sense so that could work.

No matter who emerges, we gotta admit Mario has kept this search (both OC and DC) quiet with few leaks.

Briles or Dorsey are my two guesses.

Schumann for DC is my guess, nobody knows though

Seems like Mario wants to announce everyone at the same time, so even though Barry isn’t currently employed I don’t think that’s determinative.

Could PSU try to negotiate a reduced settlement, of course. And if Franklin gets hired elsewhere I don't know if thst salary offsets the buyout amount. It likely does I just haven't dug that deep.

But the buyout terms of the extension raised a lot of eyebrows wrt if State Penn fires Franklin early in the deal.

You don't really see Co-OC with an OC over them from what I know. So having 2 Co-OC's = No OC in the traditional sense right?

Basically you'd have BMC as Co-OC / WR and someone else as Co-OC / QB. With QB guy hopefully calling plays.

Is pass game coordinator different than CO-OC? Seem like the same ish to me. What matters is who's calling plays and who makes the final decision about scheme/gameplanning.

Same thing with Schumann and Lanning at Jawja. Lanning was the one calling the plays, so Lanning got the HC position.
