I’m no insider, but when Smith was announced he was not intended to be on field.5 positions/units left and 4 spots remaining. Do we assume Mario keeps Dennis Smith off field but does what Napier is doing with his special teams unit (without the dumb ******* title)?

Dennis Smith hasn’t been formally announced yet. I’m thinking it’s because Mario is still working to put all the pieces together.I’m no insider, but when Smith was announced he was not intended to be on field.
With the targets that Mario is going after it’s really unlikely he ends on the field. Hayward is a more likely candidate at nickels/OLB. If it comes down to it, I think there’s a better chance of DVD ending up on field than SmithDennis Smith hasn’t been formally announced yet. I’m thinking it’s because Mario is still working to put all the pieces together.
Maybe if all the pieces fit and there’s spot for a sole ST coach (could also coach nickels or OLB) then he gives it to Smith. But considering the heat Mario is bringing seems like it would be a surprise if Smith ended up on field.
Double negativeso He is staying
And if my math is right, another spot is open too.
On the 9th day of Mario,
The head coach gave to me:
The Broyles-winning OC,
A Steele from the Terps’ staff,
Lane’s running backs guy,
Eaton to monitor what they’re eatin’
One…Massive…Samoan…
A mustache muscle man,
A tiny Cuban hobbit,
Nesta in the portal,
And McClendon no longer co-OC.
