this guy was PLAYING for the cowboys just 5 years ago.

i know mcvay was hired as a head coach at 30, but at that point he had been coaching in the nfl for 10 years. Moore has 1 year as a QB coach and 3 years as an OC... 4 years as a coach in the nfl...

Yeah, It's looking more like Mario is waiting for the NFL coaching carousel to finish before he finalizes his hires. Don't see anything happening before signing day. If you notice all the recruits they are still working on has position coaches already in place. DL and OL.

All biased aside, I would say my Cowboys are up there in terms of drafting. Team is loaded with talent, but the coaching and Jerry are holding them back. Talent acquisition: A+ / ran by a football standpoint: D.

Correct. We have a lot to fix within this program from top down. Mario wasn’t the hire that was going to be the quick turnaround guy. We are repouring the foundation. Long term sustainable success

If he feels that the best hires are still attainable, then no need to panick and offer option 3 on your list.

At the same time, don’t want to trip over what we got in TVD for some immediate success. Mario should be able to balance both.

I feel like SF belongs in there, as well as the Eagles.

Lurie makes good hires and fixes his mistakes. I think all of his coaches have at least made the playoffs their first season.

SF, is weird. They have a lot of dysfunction, but they seem to always recover from missteps and always manage to draft and develop good players.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but one factor for the delay could be national signing day. Candidates probably have some bonus or incentive in contract related to signing day. Or could have a penalty related to leaving before signing day. Or like Mario trying there best to be closing things out at previous school in the most honorable way possible way. I think this will all be done by signing day.

Oh definitely Wendy. Wendy is supposed to be a real world character - Cersei is from a fantasy world with different rules. On top of that, Cersei usually was better about understanding the power dynamics between her and other characters which Wendy is terrible at (I am one episode into S4).
