Personally Rickey is in my top 5 all time but he for sure was an interesting character to say the least:

‘Rumor has it that before every game he ever played, Rickey stood completely naked in front of a full length mirror in the locker room and said, “Ricky’s the best! Rickey’s the best!” over and over for several minutes.’

I’d read that tidbit before and others but found this gem that recalled a bunch of other Rickey stories.

This. Stealing signs is fair game until technology is used. Obviously, a major advantage for the home team. I am all for doing whatever it takes to win but there is a line, and the Astros crossed it. It’s a tainted title.

I understand wanting a name brand, but if the kid has got the juice let's go with a big brained innovator over a re-tread. Mario's interview process, learned from Belichik, is certainly thorough and if he evaluates Whipple or whoever as the best option I'm willing to take a leap of faith.

Everyone in sports is cheating or trying to cheat , it’s not just the Pats , Astros , Yankees , Red Sox , Alabama or UGA. Anytime there’s high stakes and big money involved people are cheating. Some are juat better at it than others.

Absolutely. When big money is involved, you bet everyone is trying to get an advantage. I would laugh at any of my Yankee compandres or anyone else that told me none of their players went using PEDs back in the day. Every team had more than a handful of players using.

I wouldnt go as far as to say all teams were doing what the Astros did though. Some Im sure are and didnt get caught. That was next level. I honestly think Id be able to catch some things like that with the 1 team I watch. But yeah, in general terms, they all touching some gray areas.

CFB cheating is a next level joke. Enforcement is as biased and selective as anything you will ever see in competition where fairness is supposed to be the 1 equalizer. Ive made my peace that it is what it is. Its like some of the bigger time cats in my city. When I was younger and plugged in, I knew they could get away with **** because of who they knew and had protection from the enforcers. But others had to be made an example of so the enforcers looked like they were doing their job.
 
I was able to secure a second interview for the OC position. I’ve adjusted my NCAA14 playbook to also include 4 verts but from the flex-bone formation. I hope you guys are ready for this.
