does not meet mario's (correct IMO) qualifications for high character people. neither does art briles.

you cannot walk into a recruit's home and sell them on the intangibles that mario brings and how the program will take care of the kid etc. and then roll out bobby "neck brace" petrino. irreconcilable.

Happy to hear you’re doing well. You nailed it when you said TRT is not a “cycle”. Once you’re on it, you’re on it. I have lots of friends and colleagues that are on it permanently in their 20’s because they ****ed around with PEDs. I hear people say all the time they are “gonna run some TRT”. I’m like that’s a steroid cycle shut the **** up.

I could go on forever about this because it’s the consulting I do, but it’s good to see someone actually responsibly post about it. Probably because you’re 57 though. The younger guys in this space are train wrecks

Cool, so why is he the HC at Missouri State and not somewhere bigger?

Shouldnt coordinators be held to a certain standard? We talk about culture and discipline and all that stuff and Mario is supposed to a lying, untrustworthy cheat and fraud, not only to the universities where he was hired but also to his players AND his family?

Seems like some want Mario to build the program like Alabama without doing what it takes to build a program like Alabama. …

Coordinators should be held to the standard of producing prolific offenses. He won't be the face of the program, that's Mario.

Like I said, this is literally the nerd you lock up in the dungeon and segregate duties to. He'd be OUTSTANDING in that capacity.

As to why no one else has hired him, he's hanging on to the "HC" dream by a thread and a Missouri State is most likely the only school left in America that will give him that job title.

But i'll say it for the 50 time....I'm not talking about BP the head coach. I'm talking about BP the coordinator.

He'd INSTANTLY become the best OC this school has EVER had and there would be a big gap between him and whoever you classify as #2.

I know...which AGAIN is why I submit he'd be a FANTASTIC consideration for OC at a MUCH bigger program.

This is all just a dream. I'm contributing to getting this thread to 2k pages.

So we hold the players to a standard and the head coach but not the coordinators?

Okay... makes no sense but okay...
