Some Interesting info on Jake Fromm's recruit or lack of

I'm not reading this whole thread over but can someone explain why y'all are arguing about Sitz as if he signed here, is committed here or something? I don't really care if a coach makes a bad eval, realizes it, drops the kid and replaces him with a baller. I'll take that scenario 10/10 times actually.

Yep. I’ve yet to see any HS QB who wasn’t good in HS succeed in college. It’s why I didn’t think Allison would ever do anything here. Kid sucked in HS, but he’s going to come to Miami and play well? Yeah, okay.

Really? What about Tannehill? Was a DB in HS until his Junior year,...threw for less yards than Sitkowski did as a Junior,...and less as a Senior, though this is not the fairest comparison when a guy leaves New Jersey to take his chances on an all-star squad in FL for his senior year. He basically "went to college early"; cant hold that against college recruiters.

Sherman came in and moved him to WR his 1st couple years @ A&M, yet he somehow winds up going #8 overall.

You frown upon inaccuracy,...but sometimes kids put things all together later on.

The one player who sits atop that board is four-star passer Artur Sitkowski from (where else) New Jersey. And over the past month, Sitkowski's had two opportunities to work side-by-side with both Harbaugh and quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch.

He was impressed.

"It was indescribable. Awesome. I loved it so much," Sitkowski raved after working with Harbaugh and Michigan at a satellite camp in New Jersey earlier this month. "Their hard work rubs off on you. It was awesome.

"I loved it."

Sitkowski spent some time chatting with Fisch after the Paramus Catholic camp wrapped up and then went over to thank Harbaugh for the event once again before heading home.

A week later, he was in Ann Arbor to take part in Michigan's "Aerial Assault" quarterback camp -- working most of the day in the same group as McCaffrey.

The No. 4-ranked pro-style passer in 2018 (and No. 45 overall), Sitkowski already boasts an impressive early offer list that includes Ohio State, Penn State, Florida State, Wisconsin and more.

And Michigan, of course.

"They're really recruiting me hard right now," Sitkowski said. "Coach Fisch especially. And coach Partridge with those deep New Jersey roots. I have some schools standing out right now. Ohio State, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and Boston College. Those are the schools that are sticking out right now.

"My decision should be done hopefully by the end of the spring evaluation period next year."

Was the supposed attention flat out lies from this kid, or was he a legit prospect in the eyes of guys plenty above anyone here?

Richt has always recruited top classes, seems kinda silly to hammer him on a player here or there. Nobody is 100%.

We arent allowed to criticize Richt and his staff OP.

Too many people have delicate sensibilities and get upset.

I don’t care what Mark did or did not do at uga. Miami is The U and I want him to be a Hurricane HC. Grabbing that ref and getting a penalty is a good sign.

I'd still like to know why Richt had no interest in Justin Fields. Thatvones a mystery to me.

Talented kid, never heard of him though before that Orlando the opening performance. Regardless we will be more than fine with Jarren Williams as our Qb

i mean it's hard for anyone to knock richt for qb recruiting

frohm drew criticism all year for being average at best, they relied HEAIVLY on the run

the last three qb's he's landed has been consensus 5 star jacob eason (however he turns out is not richt's fault as he was gone, but eason had the talent), n'kosi perry, and jarren williams

dude can recruit qb's no doubt about it
