They reopened it for the illegals. Always stay in Mid-town when visiting NYC. If you can afford it, stay at the Marriott Marquis. Fantastic spot.

Any recommendations on hotels, food, or anything else nearby for 3 friends trying to have a good time?

Never been to NY so excited to see the canes, yankee stadium, and the city

Stay in mid-town close to Central Park or ****'s Kitchen area. The subway will take you right to the stadium. That's what I did a couple years ago.
