Didn’t AcC set them up with an easy schedule cause they are new?

Their schedule might be one of the weakest in the county.

No Miami, No Clemson, no Va Tech.

Only team left that might challenge them is Pitt. These dudes about to walk into the AcC with a sorry *** team

I think they're getting in. That 2nd spot between us and Clemson. SMU schedule is mad weak. They don't get Ga Tech either. That Pitt game is a home game. SMU going to the ACCCG

Miami has an equal easy schedule as SMU

Miami OOC schedule: Ball St. (home), FAMU (home), at UF, at USF
SMU OOC schedule: BYU (home), at Nevada, TCU (home), HCU (home)

Miami conference: FSU (home), at VT, at Cal, FSU (home), at GT, at UL, Duke (home), WF (home), at Syracuse
SMU conference: at UL, FSU (home), at Duke, at Stanford, Pitt (home), BC (home), Cal (home) at UVA

It will come down to

Wake,Cuse, vatech , Gatech

Vs

Stan, Va , BC , Pitt

Which is tougher.

It comes down to strength of schedule, so we'd need teams like VT to win out.
If that’s the case SMU is left out between Us, SMU and Clemson due to Clemson/Miami having a tougher strength of schedule.

Especially if Miami is undefeated and Clemsons loss is UGA.

But that begs the question…what are the odds a 11-1 SMU team, who’s only loss could be to the Big12 Champ, sneaks into the CFP?

Odds are really slim but there’s a potential scenario the ACC gets 3 teams in

Curious what happens if Clemson, SMU and us all go undefeated in conference play
combined win percentage of conference opponents appears the tie breaker that would go in affect

  1. Combined head-to-head win percentage among the tied teams if all tied teams are common opponents.
  2. If all the tied teams are not common opponents, the tied team that defeated each of the other tied teams.
  3. Win percentage versus all common opponents.
  4. Win percentage versus common opponents based on their order of finish (overall conference win percentage, with ties broken) and proceeding through other common opponents based upon their order of finish.
  5. Combined win percentage of conference opponents.
  6. The tied team with the higher ranking by the Team Rating Score metric provided by SportSource Analytics following the conclusion of regular season games.
  7. The representative shall be chosen by a draw as administered by the Commissioner or Commissioner’s designee.

Their defense will shut down Louisville, and Pitt is suspect. VT is the one team that will give them a fight.
It's fine to say that you think Clemson will win the games, but to say that the schedule is cake is just stupid.
