based off of his film at worst he is a lights out Special Teamer.

He’s slow, he’s not the best athlete but you know what he is, he’s a safety, you don’t have many players that can just play a good safety - Coach No D

I was just being stupid making fun of Coach No D evaluating a safety a few years back. But he’s not slow but takes him a second or 2 to get started

When you finish in the top 6 in the state tract finals after running HS track in your first year in 2 events involving speed how is one slow?

I'd approach db like this. It's an A- with Stevenson...a B without him

DCW (give him Nunn's spot, can help in slot for a year)

Stevenson (All out for him...Emerson and this Powell kid as backup plans)

I agree with that but it Hasn’t worked for us though, the only 3star who’s panned out at db for us that’s from south Florida lately has been sheldrick redwine who’s a stud. We can find plenty of bust though that we have taken including Terrance Henley, Nate dortch, Larry hope, Vernon Davis, Ryan Mayes, Robert knowles, probably missing a few

Doesn't matter...you make it work going forward. Do not recruit lazily and find the ones other teams are finding.

Nate Dortch was from Ft. Myers.

Larry Hope was solid, and a guy I'd take again. Would have been a good reserve player if he stayed here.

I liked Vernon Davis, too...thats one that just didn't work out.

That was Golden and Paul Williams' eye for talent. Remember, they didn't even want Redwine and turned down Fenton.

We will see dmoney but it’s not a recipe for success if you continue to have to do that. Db classes like the 2018 class should be the standard and imo it’s possible.

Whew idk lol, Malek Young was well on his way to doing so but I’m not sure I would Put him in the category of a 3star sleeper db from south Florida. Everyone knew about him and he had big time offers and was an army all American.
