This site is very clicky.
Yes, I have to click several times to access the site.
For travel/tailgating plans at road games, CanesOverHere used to be the best site. Unfortunately, there's not much going on over there anymore...but a few guys have taken up the banner and have a Facebook group called "Canes []_[]nited.. Kings of the Road", and there's plenty of plans in place for Friday night partying and Saturday tailgates up for this Fall's games already. Not trying to step on CIS's toes at all by redirecting traffic--but that's a good place to get hooked up with other Canes fans.Tailgate and travel for games .....way to know were all the parties and hang outs for cane fans !!!
I agree. I'm originally from Palm Beach, but live waay up in VA. I come down frequently and wish I knew where to go to be around the REAL fans.
THE WEZ needs to have an uncensored sports section, uncensored politics section, and a WAR ZONE section for ignorant purposes. A lot of topics do seem to get lost amongst the randomness that goes on in there.
You all should get rid of the rep system completely.....
yeah i'm in the negative but it's not about me, b/c I get a good laugh out of it. It seems that the current way the system is being used, can turn new guys off who aren't prepared for the atmosphere over here. It seems counter productive to make changes on one end, with the new football board and recruiting board policies, but still have a system that can be abused at any point on the back end.
- The Moderators can better "POLICE" everybody more responsibly, to check trolling and posting point less stuff, more so than us commoners.
- The Like system is a better alternative.... kind of like how yahoo does it. You may have people who like your comment and you may have people who dislike it. If the comment has 2 many dislikes it can be disabled from public view just like how yahoo does it.
The like system is in place on the athletic boards.

I don't see it.
I don't see **** eitherThe like system is in place on the athletic boards.
I don't see it.
There should be a like button near the rep button.
The like system should be adjusted... You all should consider having a thumbs up or thumbs down counter like over at yahoo.com
Also we don't need to see who actually likes your posts... do we?? It can kind of start to come off a little ummmmm how do i say this......... "***."

How should we say this... We aren't big fans of yahoo.
I hate the ads. Trying to view at work makes this site freeze quite often. Stuck with IE and firewalls.
I know it's new, and surely it's still a work in progress, but I'm not a fan of how the likes are shown within the post. I think it adds useless information and takes away from the content (which is why we're all here). I think it'd be better off relegated to a number in a box on the left of the post, near the like button, instead of an entire bar in each post dedicated to it.
Turning the black Forum button on top into a drop down would definitely be a nice feature to speed up browsing and make the site less "clicky."
I'd definitely split the Baseball & Basketball boards.
With regards to ads, you could try contacting Hurricane apparel stores (AllCanes, etc), Ticketmaster (for Canes tickets), etc and see if you can set up an affiliate program with them so your ads apply to the content better. Personally, I don't see the ads because my browser blocks them, so I'm not sure what they look like, but it might be a better way for you guys to make the money necessary to host the site and keep membership free as opposed to something like Adsense. Also, if you host affiliate banners from your own host (instead of getting ads automagically served to you from Google), people like me who have ad blocking programs will see them because the programs will think it's content, not ads.
