SIAP- James Coley

Best of both worlds, get Coley for inside WR/TEs and a good technician for outside WRs. If the outside WR coach is also a good recruiter, that's a cherry on top.
that's great if we can do that. I just am not seeing Hankerson leaving an NFL gig to basically do the same at the college level. Maybe I am missing something.

Main reason would be to be near his family, also maybe some appeal to coaching his alma mater

That's on Mario. He came in with his own timeline & open checkbook. It's his job to relay his expectations to these candidates & fill out a staff w/ similar visions.

I don't blame Veteran guys for not wanting to put in 100+ hours a week. Leave that to the rooks & guys like Coley who truly enjoy recruiting. Most don't & it's why so many never come back to college once they go pro.
And it’s worse now with NIL as you may have renegotiate and re recruit your good players after every season.

At least in the pros you got at least two years until the good players come back for a new contract (unless your name is Xavien Howard).

Honest question. Can you differentiate the difference in the state of the program now to when he was here?
So you answer an honest question with a question! Well played! I’ll answer your question after you answer mine even though your question has absolutely nothing to do with my original question.

No offense, my dude but that’s a ridiculous question. As another poster put it, even Mario looked around and left this amateur of a program, at that time.
