Agree with everything you said and I would add that a lot of them tend to be Mormon, particularly those from the mainland. It’s why BYU and UTAH/UTAH State tend to land a good proportion of them.

I would love to get this kid but I think we are way behind the eight ball on him, especially trying to build a relationship with him this late in the process.

Miami needs to recruit for the lines in juco and grad transfers every year, they clearly arent going to get top trench players out of high school....

Watched him play against my kids school this year. wasn't even fair he lived in the backfield all night. Yes most are Mormon, very family oriented and tend to stay near home . He would be a great get, he is well on his way to the NFL if he continues to develop .

These M'Fnn coaches are gonna get me in my feelings with this slow playing bullcrap they are pulling. Ma'an they have an gaggle of interns put those trust fund babies to work vetting new prospect recruits. They should have been doing this from last week day and night an had all the background stuff on this young man ready in a recruiting package for Hartley to stop by Salt Lake City on his trip out west last weekend.

This first time I'm hearing of this cat is Paranos saying we should be looking at him. Leads me to believe we haven't been after him at all. This close to the early signing period I can't imagine we'll get any traction if he's been recruited heavily this whole time by other schools.

He said that we *could* get involved with them down the road; not that we have already. We're late to the party. No reason to think we have a realistic shot at them.

We havent yet. We should of been on him like yesterday. I remember him looking impressive inc amp video this summer. Not sure why you send Richt Jr out west after that qb and not have him just circle in on a few other west coast kids top prospect types.

I stand corrected Ika has 1 official Visit left in addition to the Bama OV on Nov 24th.
USC (6/22), LSU (10/13), Oregon (11/3), Bama (11/24)

Staff needs to bring him on a OV before that Bama Visit.

This is **** is so frustrating, these dudes don’t learn. We got @Paranos putting in more work than the staff. They need to contact all these kids immediately and bring them in for an OV, don’t matter if they just coming for a vacation. They still trying to work on one target at a time. Never a sense of urgency with these cats.
