To be honest.. the db coaches after him haven’t done a great job recruiting either.

And the ones before him either. DB recruiting has been bad for 20 years as well as DT. And both positions still has struggles to this day

So I'm not gonna get into the whole counselor though cause people are clearly gonna believe whatever they want.

But to say Banda was used to help rumph recruit is a blatant lie. The pecking order even when it related to DBS was Mandy had to sign off on everything. Under him was the bartender & under him was Mike. Mike couldn't make a single call on his own and that cost us numerous people you guys all blamed him for. Yet somehow never gave him credit for any he did pull in. And any failures never feel back on the bartender. That was all on Mike. **** was would how hypocritical people were.

Far as who put him on off field duties that was Mandy when he was looking for scapegoats. Just like when everyone said how bad Baker was, while anyone with a clue knew the defense was called by Mandy.

Bro, there’s literally a NY Times article highlighting Rumph’s struggles recruiting, & out of his own mouth he stated he went to counseling.

My memory is like an elephant. Also, Manny didn’t demote Rumph to an off the field role, Mario did. Rumph & Banda both left the staff in Manny’s last yr.

No one is saying that's not what was said. I'm simply starting MAYBE it's not exactly what happened. Not gonna discuss his personal business. But it was a lil deeper than that.

And brother, if your memory is like an elephant than you know at the very least you were wrong on who demoted him to off field. The banda stuff is more of believe what you will.

Bro, Rumph was let go off a Manny’s staff before the 2021 season, & Banda moved on to Utah State.

I said Mario have him in an off field role.

Myself I don't get no joy out of any disputed and I've noticed a pattern or two. So I'm gonna shut up and you feel free to go with whatever you feel. Mike was never let go though by the way. He was demoted in 21. That's all, cause stu & phil wouldn't let Mandy fire him when he wanted to. But who cares. Y'all go with whatever.

I'm on campus a lot and see Rumph all the time. Not sure precisely what his role is, but he's visible at least physically quite a bit. Just this past Sunday, for example, I was bicycling around campus and he was driving a cart with some recruits around. JT was behind him with more 'croots and their families.
