I am not trying to patch anything. Anyone with even an inkling of knowledge regarding CFB knows that the SECW is a million times tougher than the **** coastal. You then tried to bring up a bad loss to one team so I brought up a VERY bad loss to an even worse team.

Didn’t Rumph admit he had a hard time recruiting, citing communication issues in which he had to see a therapist for?

Also, didn’t Manny use Banda to help Rumph recruit? Lastly, wasn’t Rumph put on off field duties when Mario came here?

Something like that.. He didn’t have the skill set for recruiting, which is why it was so good to see him move to a spot he was better suited for. The recruiting dept.

Yeah I'm not saying he was good or even average at recruiting, I'm saying Manny made it harder for him overall. We basically had Asante Samuel Jr. (1st rounder) in the bag but Manny thought he was too small and wouldn't let Rumph go all in until it was too late from what i remember. Same thing with another few players but i cant remember who exactly. Im pretty sure Manny didn't like Kair Elam as well.....maybe Marco Wilson too. I think there were others that were very interested but i need others to chime in @SWFLHurricane or @Brooklyndee might remember, i know there was more than just Asante Samuel but that was the most egregious and enough to prove my point imo.

His best player was also probably Malek Young and he had that freak neck injury that stopped his career.

One part of his current role that he loves is being a campus tour guide for recruits and their families. He mentioned this on a podcast interview earlier this year.

I always thought that was odd lol maybe he helps with the evaluations or something
