Looks like we still have the 5 yard defense. Stand straight up, get blown off the ball 5 yards, then try and make a play. What an excellent scheme we have in place. Really puts our players in the best position to make plays.

It's so frustrating to watch. We let the offense dictate how we play. Our scheme takes away the play-making ability of our front 7 in non-obvious passing downs. We were 112th in the nation in tackles for loss last season.

Kinda wondering why AQM has no help out there on the perimeter. Should either be a safety coming down or an inside linebacker scraping over.

We're kinda screwed in the C and/or D gap on those plays. If AQM goes inside, RB can hit the outside. If AQM keeps outside contain, RB can hit it inside. (like we saw)

It's not full-go though.
