Exactly, and it's not like these guys aren't rich enough to have lawyers making sure everything is legit. A&M just bought the #1 recruiting class, Texas is giving OL 50K, it's go time and we are in the game.
He's related to Mario through marriage. He loves the U (him and his kids all got degrees from there). And he's friends with many board members. I doubt he'd do anything to jeopardize the school.
We already know he's going head to head with the NCAA. I'm sure he's got all his T's crossed and his I's dotted.

He's a billionaire attorney with a team of his own attorneys, not to mention outside counsel on any conflicts, who has smartly set up a stand-alone foundation to fund completely legal NIL deals. I think everyone can stop worrying about the NCAA and the law here.

I am really wondering how long its going to take this board to realize what's going on here, as almost everyone is inexplicably missing it - missing the phoenix rise from the ashes in front of your faces. Missing ENJOYING the miracle that is the incredible confluence of events that has lead to the rebirth of Miami football. Though I watched most of you somehow suffer through the most successful coaching and AD search in Miami history and now you're almost all currently losing your minds during a very normal staffing process, so being honest, I'm not too optimistic here!
He also just added another attorney to the fam...his daughter just graduated UM law. Just having a family dinner they have 3-4 attorneys analyzing the situation

I am very familiar with SPACs and how they work, there is a reason why people go that route instead of the traditional IPO. If the SPAC falls apart it does not guarantee that the company stays a billion dollar company and that is the point here. There is no revenue and there is just this great idea. I hope to god it’s all good but there have been red flags raised by outsiders about the whole project.
True, I've bought many SPACs and made $$$, but the SPAC market turned south after the CCIV/LCID merger, it really hasn't recovered. I still own LCID and am holding till at least $100, bought it at $16.50. SPACs are a great opportunity for a shell company to bring a company to market much quicker than a traditional IPO and also allows retail investors to get in at ground floor instead of what's left over from institutions getting first opportunity on IPOs. What's Ruiz's SPAC?

DWAC bought me another property 🤣

It's still printing. The SPAC racket is just that -- a racket.

lol just bc she just graduated from law school doesn't mean she knows how to analyze this. you generally learn on the job following graduation not in school

Dude is rich just off his law practice from my understanding but not put a program on his back rich. He is potentially gonna be mega rich as in the 20 billi man but his SPAC has to clear. Therein lies some of the problems, it hasn’t cleared yet and isn’t guaranteed to clear. The company itself has yet to post any revenue and it doesn’t follow numerous other characteristics of a SPAC which on their own are a fad at the moment.
He rich without that.
