Aren’t the rules in Florida more restrictive than Texas? I was under the impression the Florida NIL law prohibited schools using deals to recruit, meaning the deal cannot be tied to the school. The deal cannot be performance-based. Plus other regulations.

This is why a state representative quickly submitted changes to the NIL laws, as a reaction to the 5* guy Deion signed.

Well, empirically it is about his ability to recruit at Miami. If you consider part of recruiting his ability to package external resources as part of that process. Some might say that’s beyond his control, and it probably is, but ultimately it just means his recruiting has a ceiling that is dictated by access to those resources at Miami

I know this board will go berserk if (when) he picks Jimbo’s bags and the mopes will be out in full force, but it’s hard to stop the rat infestation when you move into a house and you’re already contaminated.

What Mario’s job will be from here on out is to stop the parasites at the front door from day 1. That’s what he’s good at. That’s why he’s here.
