I'm not worried about the bags. My concern is that Shemar is really close to the TAMU commits. Class chemistry has become a bigger factor in the last decade as recruits become more connected. LeBron kind of kicked it off when he went to the Heat.

Both you and Jay said Heyward was the guy who carried the recruiting load over there on D. We’ll see how he does here with who we’ve got to help.

Mario was able to still land elite guys there with all that which is why im not worried once the staff is filled out. in this particular instance, it matters more only bc we don't have staffers other than Joe. obviously, once we have a DC and the rest of the d staff is filled out, I don't think it'll be an issue in the future. either way, not every hire will be a Home run and not every hire will be a failure. I like the B Mac move as hes a big Time recruiter who is well known to attract elite guys. Im not worried about OL bc that's Marios world. I trust who he likes and doesn't like. for DL, I already said the issues with Joe. for Db, if its belk, we should be fine there with him being a DC and DB coach by trade. I am more interested in the Offensive side bc I wanna see what were gonna be running. hopefully its an O that fits the team and roster (mainly the recruits we generally pull)

It’ll be a better job for a minimum of 2 more years. Miami’s defense is **** near a full rebuild aside from safety.

facts here. scary how bad it is right now in terms of depth and quality aside from a few spots (I think DL will be fine with JHH, LT but need depth) and S (obviously). I like the DB class we brought in so that should help. LB woof need a portal LB bad.

Yall keep downplaying the DC thing, but it's real.
That's the main thing opposing coaches are using to recruit against us. Even Dorlus is concerned about it, and it's one of the big reasons he hasn't transferred to Miami yet.
I wouldn't doubt if Moten and Thomas are concerned as well.

All the A&M deals have been from 500 to 850 with a few guys getting close to 1m I think. My cousin got 600 and isn’t a consensus 5 star

Do you have any idea how it's structured? Basically a monthly payment or yearly?

Any which way it is, these dudes are going to be wiling out as college kids aren't equipped by and large to have that kind of bankroll. Some are going to develop some bad habits and not focus on what's bringing them that coin.

We have some disadvantages we are working with that don't look like they will be solved in time. Now we get to see if our $8mil coach can deliver our biggest prospect when his calling card is recruiting. This is what we signed the check for, now it's up to Mario to deliver.

This tells me that team shemar is putting out this messaging so shemar doesn’t get criticized too much. Who’s gonna hate on a kid who goes to a place where he feels closest to the fellow recruits? Done deal.
