Love this pick up.

Solidifies Darling and puts more pressure on Cook.

Yearby is **** good. He isn't Sony or Cook, but who is?
 
BTW I'd be okay with Michel and Yearby if that happens. Cook and Michel would be unreal, but I've thought it might be unrealistic for a while. This is good for Michel too, because he has said that he wants to come in with another highly rated back.
 
not sure how I feel about this. Im almost certain Cook would not want to play in college with Yearby as Yearby already gets more carries than he does. I guess we need to go all in on Michel. Michel doesnt mind a little competition.
 
Out of curiosity, why does everyone here think Cook is better, but Yearby is the starter? I have never seen either play so I am not saying those that say Cook is better are wrong. I guess I am just wondering why Yearby is the starter if Cook is better.

Yeah, in some interviews right after signing day he kept saying that he wants to come in with other great runners and compete.

I'm assuming we have been all in on Michel for a couple years now, but agree with your point that Cook probably sticks with Clemson.

Cook might also like competition. Any of these kids that come here with Duke already on the roster clearly thinks they can play anyway, because I haven't heard a WORD about redshirting from any of them.
 
Aside from my hype about the commitment, I feel we end up with Sony and Yearby....see Cook leaving. If we get all 3 I really dont know what i would do

i read an article a few weeks ago where Cook said him and Yearby were trying to flip each other (clemson and FSU) at the time so doesn't sound like they are against playing together at the next level. now with Yearby and Darling working together on Cook you never know...

Because has that home run speed, he can break one off at any time, Yearby is no slouch, his game is more power, good feet & vision
