Makes sense I get the storm front reference and the kkkaneoil one, but I didn't see the ******* and ivan one.
 
Fine, I guess I stand corrected and we god closet biggots on this board. Not sure why they aren't cheering for rocky top or bama to advance the white race etc... Anywho this took a turn for the worst so I am gonna let you all duke it out and get back to recruiting football players to my alma mater

Sorry I just got back in and hadn’t seen this message. No idea what or who use “Storm Front.” For me it just seemed like a catchy handle and the 1964 part, well that’s my first memory as a 6 year old of sports, football, the Beatles ... so it was a good year.

I was at the first National Championship game against Nebraska. Was in Trailerhassee for the first wide right, was in South Bend for the Catholics vs. Convicts game.... so I’m Storm_Front 1964 and that is ONLY connected to my Canes. And nothing to do with knuckle dragging, cave dwelling, Neanderthals in white hoods.

I guess it wold be just easier to change the name but his content is usually strong so maybe it’s just as easy to move on from it as adults not reading something into it that’s not there...

I’m good either way until/if he ever crosses the boundary into proving the meaning is not so Cane related

Very disappointing. The thought of a white supremacist infiltrating CIS and subversively spreading hate on the down low to a bunch of minorities (myself included) was rather humorous.

Assuming OP was unaware then it was just one **** of a coincidence.

This had nothing to do with politics, or being a social justice warrior or any of those other tropes. Politics, party affiliation, who you voted for President has nothing to do with it.

That name means a very specific thing outside of a weather connotation. Just google it alone or with 1964 and see what fills most of the page. There’s a reason for that. It’s kind of like if someone was ignorant of 20th century history and decided to have a screen name of mein kampf. Technically, the words by themselves aren’t wrong or racist, it literally means my fight or my struggle, but regardless of intent, it would still be considered unacceptable to most people to have that as a screen name.

Having said that, I suggest the OP familiarize himself with the connotations and decide for himself if he wishes to continue with the screen name. As long as no hate speech is posted, there is little else to do but leave it to the common sense of the OP.
