Semifinal - Pedo State vs Notre Dame at Orange Bowl

Also ND Law alum Um undergrad was there tonight spending time and watching the game with Tim Brown and Tony Rice. So I am one of the rare ones also.
Great stuff! I don't think there are many of us. I am an IU undergrad so it was a fun football season all around, even though I wanted UM in the CFP above all else and the ending was disappointing. This is the easiest ND team to like in a long time and that all starts with Freeman.

My hate passion for Norta dame has waned over the years. Still root for them to lose quite often though. Unlikely but I hope they win it all to **** on OSU or the SEC. It would also be pure comedy watching the implosion of porsters here if Golden’s D lead them to a title.
It was much easier to dislike a Brian Kelly led Notre Dame. He is basically the guy that he seems to be. But he also brought in a couple of great defensive coaches and good dudes with Clark Lea and Freeman. ND has some really good coaches now with Freeman, Michah Shrewsberry, and Niele Ivey holding down its flagship sports.

Welcome to parityville
That and is Notre Dame proving the "major in recruiting, minor in the portal" model? There are players in key positions on that ND defense that are not only veterans but also very experienced in Freeman's defensive system. We still have the spring window to come, but I think UM may be turning the corner some in terms of building with recruiting and supplementing with the portal. We did not have any key players transfer out (although Riley Williams and Ajay Allen were good depth pieces) and we are focused on good quality in the portal.

By the way, im not saying Miami deserved to make the playoff but if this sport is supposed to be somewhat about entertainment, then the argumment can be made that Miami should have made the playoff so that fans could have watched Cam Ward play

But instead, they chose Indiana, and gave 3 cold weather campuses home games because they talked about how it would be great to have southern teams play in the cold

Every talking point that ESPN comes up with benefits other programs, never Miami

Pretty pathetic really that these 2 storied programs haven't won an NC since 1986 and 1988 and both of those respective teams really were not the best team, Miami was

Miami got screwed at ND with the Cleveland Gary non fumble
Miami played maybe the worst game in is history Penn St in Tempe

For all the hoopla on these 2 programs, they haven't done much
penn, oregon, nd, texas are the three most under achieving hyped programs of all time.

since ive been alive there has been 1 champ between em.....UCF has atleast a mythical 1
