We don't go heads up with the Lames often in recruiting. Still, I just can't do it. It's years and years of disdain. Sure, there's the Fiesta and recruiting, but it's nothing compared to old school rivalry with SBend.

I'm debating on who I hate more and my answer is coming to Norte Dame. Norte Dame a true old rivalry and they took us off when we starting beating them down. I can't let that go and that's the same reason I hate the Gators more then FSU.

Ryan Day is now 6-6 vs top 5 teams. He’s joins a list of only 5 others guys to be .500 or better against top 5 opponents. All of you who clowned me in the OSU vs Oregon game earlier this year, for calling him an elite coach with an elite resume, can come take your medicine.

Do you know how ridiculous it was when JJ chose Ohio State and you brushed him off as a follower? Do you know how ridiculous it is that you’re talking about how JJ doesn’t do this or that in the 2nd half of games?The dude’s a generational WR talent who could have played in the NFL straight out of high school.

It’s ok to acknowledge that we’ve been an inferior program with inferior coaching and development compared to Ohio State, UGA and the elite teams.

Yes, yes, and yes! OSU are little *******, but they've played Miami 4 fricking times. Comparing them to the 26 times Miami played ND is ridiculous IMO. But OSU stole a NC from Miami. Kiddos ND was the OG of stealing a NC from Miami. 31-30 in South Bend in 1988. Know your history!
 
As much as I hate OSU, ND winning would be everyone’s worst nightmare. Their fans are already insufferable…a year of them as champs would be worse than anything I could imagine. The media sucking them off for an entire year.

I would take a year off from football….

This championship game is a Dog's Breakfast for any True Canes fan with any sense of history. However, from a rankings and recruiting POV, it's much better for us to knock off ND next year if they're the reigning National Champions than if they're coming off a beat down against the Buckeyes.

Taint's turn will come. And if we're smart, we'll strip Jeremiah Smith from their roster before his Agency starts demanding Lebron Money to transfer.

Smith's NFL contract is going to be silly.

I agree and I think Ohio State wins but I’ll root for Marcus Freeman. I’m not rooting for followers like JJ Smith and Brandon Innis who scorned @nycane when they chose to be coached by Brian Hartline at a winning program
