Self-loathing season started a little later than usual this year...

This has been the program for the last 20 years. My kids have never known Miami as a good program, only the fables that I tell them of a time long, long ago. Sad and pathetic. Get a real head coach after he regresses next season
 
It’s exhausting dealing with our joke of a fanbase. I get that we are all frustrated with how the season ended, but 10-2(possible 11-2) hasn’t happened around here often in the last twenty years.

It’s sad, but there’s more optimism around 2-10 FSU and 7-5 UF, despite Miami having some young talent in the pipeline, and some **** good talent coming back. It’s almost like a fair amount of our fans are only happy when they are miserable.

You can look back on this season fondly and wonder what could have been without screaming the sky is falling in every **** thread.

If it was so incredibly easy to go 10-2, we’d have more than two of those seasons in the last TWENTY YEARS. No one is saying that this season was a smashing success, but it wasn’t the unmitigated disaster our dumbass fans believe it is either. The program took some steps forward, but there is a ton of work to be done.

The question is can Mario build on this season by adjusting his staff and supplementing/upgrading talent both through the portal and within the program.

Did you watch any games? What's your take on the status of our defense? In Year 3?

Maybe we’ll finish strong some year and then we can sit around congratulating ourselves on how awesome the season was. We’ll always have August 31st-November 8th to look back upon fondly.

That's because most fans know that this season was the peak of the Mario Cristobal Era. Won't get any better than this. 10-2 and no conference titles. Some of us want more. Others are content.

We lost TWO games as double digit favorites w the best player in country on our team!

It’s mediocre when you really analyze it

I'm usually a very glass-half-full kind of fan, but if you're not disappointed in how this season ended, you're insane. It's not about going 10-2, it's about having all the stars align to give us an incredibly manageable path to the playoff and STILL blowing it in spectacular fashion. Sorry we're not feeling rah-rah and optimistic less than a week after an objectively awful late-season collapse. And please don't compare us to UF and FSU fans... They have had months to look ahead to next year and get their warm and fuzzy optimism going.

10-2 is great until you add the context.

We took our best roster since the glory years, and **** all over it. We won’t see a qb like that again, and based on recruiting results, we won’t see much of anything moving forward.

Yea bro I don’t get it either seeing our fans taking a duce on our future and next season is frustrating but hey what can you expect seems like ALL Miami teams have the same type of fans who enjoy sh*tting on their team lol we go 10-2 n now the program is dead 💀
