Not saying it’s going to happen but one of the things that I think CMR can negotiate is to reassign Jon but keep him at the same salary. Flake James and BOT would happily take that.

Don’t think it happens with a guy like Seider who is essentially as green as Jon when it comes to being a QB coach. Think it needs to be a guy who has had success as a QB coach and that it’s sold to CMR as some one Jon can learn from. That’s the ONLY way I see Jon not being our QB coach next year while CMR is the HC. Wishful thinking.

Came up with Hartley as a GA at WVU when Hartley was a GA and was also on Doc first staff at Marshall with Hartley.

If Seider comes on board, Recruiting in SOFLA would be locked down, and Seider has the connections Nationally also from him College and NFL days.

I find it funny about recruiting on lock with him, we recruit south Florida every well already this ****** season and the look of the offense is the issue with recruiting!

I don’t disagree with that and I’m not saying it would be a bad hire, quite the contrary. My point is about him being a QB coach and the likelyhood that CMR would reassign his son for him. We all know how much CMR values “experience” with everyone not named Jon Richt.

Also Seider has been around some modern offenses that put up a ton of points. QB Coach/Co-OC with TB would be perfect for the staff AND recruiting.
