Seems like a disconnect here.

Who cares, be happy for dunmore, it's called "coach dugans and the coach richt regime" being honest. They let dunmore no early on that ladson was their guy, and that they had a spot for em if ladson went another route. We not pressed to bring in more than one receiver this year anyway, we holding steady. But if need be, we'll add another, but dont get all knotted up over dunmore, he's a solid receiver, coach dugans and richt want Elite receivers. They looking to get in someone just as good as Ahmon(1st round talent), and dunmore is not it. Good job by penn st. Although he may actually dog out the big ten competition. He gone make plays, but right now, he not blowing past people at the highschool level.

We loaded at wideout right now, i think one senior in langham, and ahmon may dip out after this year, that'll leave, jeff thomas, harley, pope, cager, ezzard, njoku, i put the 3 home run hitters up front, and i got njoku being a better version of cager, and cager is real solid and can actually get behind a defense, see the wisconsin game as a reminder and the Fsu game. It normally takes about 2 years to get close to back right from those ACL injuries, i got cager doing more damage this year, and njoku, by next year will really start housing people, coach dugans wont have to keep trying to convince njoku to play to his height.

And dont sleep on irvin either at tight end, he's the most complete tight-end on the roster right now, im not counting on the freshman, and mallory should redshirt this year for safety precaution concussion style. The passing game should improve especially with Malik being healthier, im not expecting rosier to bead kaaya the
Offense, but scoring points if searels can get his group decent should not be a problem.

I agree with what you are saying about dunmore but you left out a couple of guys who will be key to the continued elite play of that position group in Hightower and Wiggins. Hightower has come in and done nothing but impress and put people on notice that he isn't playing around and going for someone's spot.

If I was Dunmore I would also shine Miami for the snub (late offer).

lol so if you were a dime a dozen recruit you would also "shine" on Miami bc we offered "late" ??? Lets compare you to Miami to help you see how clueless you sound.

What the **** is up?

Dunmore offered very very late (looks like a great talent). Johnson, (embarrasingly) chasing after him when we have very good QB talent already. We're not getting either.

With all the positives around the program we should be nailing recruiting and were not.

most these kids just got hair on their balls a few years earlier. they are 16 and 17...recruiting is like a nice piece of ***. you feel safe at home. but as you get out there and you see other pieces it messes with your mind and something you think with something other than your brain. you think other asses are always better.

Wiltfong from 247 put in a CB for pedo state
That was weeks ago. Nothing has changed and he received Miami CB's right before it. Honestly I trust Ivins more than anyone right about now. He hasn't put in his CB if I'm correct. He's been pretty spot on recently.

Appreciate it MikeCane, i thought that list was a lil shallow, knew i was missing somebody/s, thanks for bringing him up, reminded me of a post i read when it was annouced that dayall harris was leaving the program and somebody posted "brian hightower already claimed his first victim" LoL!

I was with you until your comments on Irving being a complete tight end. He will be passed quickly by the Freshmen.

Rosier also likely doesn't last the season as starter.
I don't see any way that Irvin is the starter day one over Jordan. Just on pure talent alone, Jordan should unseat him. He may even be 3rd behind Mallory.

FWIW, Ivins hasn't been comfortable about MJJ for a long time. Something just not feeling right there and that's why he hasn't put in any cb

If he comes to Paradise either as a commit or still thinking I like our chances.

Why everyone feels a need to respond to trolls is beyond me. Lock this thread please.

I swear to god these threads are amazing.

Who in their right mind is complaining about WR RECRUITING?

Maybe, just maybe if he comes to Paradise before making a commitment we can sway him. It seems weird to me that he would commit to another school with a QB already committed there. It’s a 50/50 chance of beating that guy out vs. transferring.

But the whole process it seemed we were running 2nd or 3rd, even after schools like Oregon, Nebraska, etc. were taking other QBs.

BTW, MJJ's uncle who posted the "uhhhhh no" was just disputing OP's claim of what coaches told MJJ. His comment had nothing to do with actually whether he was out or not.

I already expressed my feelings on this recruitment a few weeks back. I'll just say, this would be a bad loss. not just because of Johnson being a good player, but that he was the ONLY QB we were going after. top priority, coach traveling from one coast to another a bunch of times, only to lose out to a team that already has a qb committed.
