its recruiting. what can you do after a 6-7 season. sucks to lose scarlett and lose cronkrite bc we received the scarlett commitment. well see what happens on NSD.

This is why Golden will never be successful here. All the Miami elite players are close. You turn one down, the next thing you know someone else that you planned on keeping, the reason you turned the other down, then they want to play together and you already ****ed yourself. Basically what Golden was telling him is that he could "compete" for PT with them and if he didn't win it he would move to DB or WR. He should have played the game and told him he would have a role regardless, just like a offensive weapon, just tell him something to keep him and then do what you want when he gets on campus.

No. That was more CIS bulls*** from slurpers who brushed off Cronkrite's decommitment and refused to direct any criticism towards the staff for the real reason he left. IIRC, both Token Cane and Canesbball said the staff lied to him repeatedly and then Ice Harris stopped recruiting him for months. And then a member of the staff took an attitude with Cronkrite in a phone call right before he decommitted. He was never scared of competition.

And we're going to go from having Scarlett/Williams/Cronkrite/Walton committed at RB to just having Walton. They lied to Cronk and botched his recruitment. Pete claims the staff let Williams walk to try to secure Scarlett and Walton, which is going to backfire horribly as anyone with a brain could've seen coming. And Scarlett's going to leave because UF made a coaching change and can legitimately sell reason for optimism, unlike this dead to rights program.

We're missing out on elite athletes with top-end explosion and home run ability at RB (Michel, Cook, Scarlett will be next) and ending up with good players with limited athletic upside and far lower ceilings.

Like any bad used car salesman, you keep selling lemons who in the **** is going to believe you. Any person with any knowledge of football can see this program is run by a fraud, fake and phony of a coach. This guy will do more damage than Shapiro and the Pell grant scandal combined. Sorry to say this program has not reached the abyss.
