Sandland ?

Admittedly I have not followed Sandland's recruiting at all. Someone tell what part of Sandland's quote makes you believe he is coming here? Also did he actually visit Miami?

He did visit Miami. I think most of the optimism stems from his relationship w/ Carroll and our history of putting TE's in the NFL. He has said the two of the important things to him are his relationship with his position coach and chances to get to the pros. On the other hand, 'insiders' feel as if he will pick ASU.
 
I think Walford showed a lot of improvement late in the year and should only get better. But we have no one reliable after him. Look at the Patriots offense with two elite TEs. This offense could be deadly when you put Walford, Sandland, duke, dorsett and any other WR we have on the field at the same time.

To be clear most people think he is going to ASU

At the worst it's 60/40 ASU...and a 50/50 shot is something we all would have signed up for a couple months ago. I also have a lot of faith in Al Golden towards the end of a recruitment

Agreed. We had a lot of ground to make up but I feel like we have done that. A lot of people have been critical of BC but if we pull Sandland we need to place a mini crown on his head.
