The one positive is our coaches have been on him the hardest / longest and have a long relationship with him. If he chooses UF after coming in late it was strictly cash and that’s fine. Miami has the relationship , coaches who are OL experts , a roster with no depth / talent and a great NIL deal. UF on the other hand just got heavily involved the last couple months.
Didn’t we save a boat load of cash when rashada flipped? How are we going to get outbid by UF? I would be pretty disappointed if that happened and it was not spent elsewhere.

Well for starters UF has a ton of money. Their situation in regards to the NIL mess early in the cycle had more to do with organization. Also, let’s remember that ultimately NIL is just one piece of this, and I expect us to be competitive at least for the foreseeable future but the rest is all about relationships and where a particular feels most comfortable. Don’t let your team allegiance cloud your judgement, it’s not inconceivable that a recruit could just like a school like UF more. Basically don’t be a Gator fan. I think we win out in the end on Okunlola. UF is making a late run because they are a top tier program with a ton to offer.

the guy that had us as the leader for 8 months and never committed may not actually come here? A very shocking development indeed 😑 come on y’all.
Lol exactly. This was always going to come down to the wire if he didn’t end up committing earlier this summer.

Just surprised that it’s UF that is the biggest contender. We know Mario can close. Going to be a stressful 4 days.

Everything you say is true but in regards to record Florida had 1 more win than we did. And with Honcho wanting his “brand” to succeed Miami seems like that makes WAY more sense than small Gainesville

I’ve been saying this kid wasn’t coming since June. Was doubtful Rashada would stick too with the way he handled his recruiting all about the money and nothing else. Samson cut from the same clothe. You aholes can middle finger and dislike all you want. Doesn’t change the facts. I’d love to have Samson, but just being realistic.

It is more so if we intended on landing radhada and Samson we should have a ton of NIL left over to use elsewhere if we do not land them. We will see what happens.

I’m not. As per our usual arrangement, we got ahead ourselves with basically everything. I knew UF was done ******* around once they got Rashada to leave us and commit out of nowhere. This has probably been worked on behind the scenes for a while. Once we landed Cormani, they were out for blood. We hosted him in like June or July and he didn’t even commit to a date until a few weeks ago. I’m not even sure he ever said we led. The analyst and insiders said it but I don’t remember him giving us pole position. This has been coming
