I’m going to let it play out. I remember a lot of occasions we had the last visit and “felt good” only to be let down at the last minute or on signing day.

I think we’re on the opposite end of that a lot more these days.
Who was that other recruit that committed to FSU in the gaytor parking lot earlier this year? That would be a grand finish to this visit lol.

The one positive is our coaches have been on him the hardest / longest and have a long relationship with him. If he chooses UF after coming in late it was strictly cash and that’s fine. Miami has the relationship , coaches who are OL experts , a roster with no depth / talent and a great NIL deal. UF on the other hand just got heavily involved the last couple months.

And this is why no one can say "Mario failed" if the guy ends up signing with UF.

From your view has it always been about the cash? Seems like the prevailing undercurrent.

Which makes it worse for Mario and Mirabal. If we are offering that and they miss because of a stupid rental Lambo

tbh, disney and universal make the tourism an industry. without that, there isnt much. orlando has the busiest airport in the state bc of the theme parks. florida had an influx of residents during covid bc of its covid rules. the biggest thing to look at is whether people go back now that everything is open or they stay.

Man if he is staying this matters a lot , gotta build a OL at the least

And Samson or not, it’s the best OL class we’ve signed in forever.

And don’t forget, very much in the mix for Cohen from Bama.

Samson would make it the best OL class in the history of the school, but even without him it’s one of the best OL classes the country.

Going in home as early as they did with him was a mistake in my opinion. They treated like he was already in the class… and maybe he was… but as soon as he said I’m OVing at UF that went right out the window.

This is Mario so I have full faith closing but I imagine their second guessing going in home that early

There will be predictions from
UF services. Get ready. UF will be the source of that intel, doubt Samson and fam.

Brian Dohn seems to be the one guy dialed in with Samson’s camp. I’ll watch for his take on it but the On3 jokes like Bender and even Simmons….not holding much stock in that.

Fong will follow Dohn’s take.

***JOHN RUIZ TO THE COURTESY PHONE. REPEAT, JOHN RUIZ TO THE COURTESY PHONE***

None of this even matters if gattis is staying. No chance of us being relevant or good as long as he’s here
That will be handled another day. Right now the goal is to try to get as much talent (players and coaches) before August 2023. That’s the focus.
