Do they really need to sit out a year,it seems they always come up with a family illness and get what they want.

I don’t know how y’all don’t see it. He set his commit date before the OV. That means he already knows where he’s going.

He‘s going there for a troll job on UF or to up his UM bag.

There’s no need for an OV if you already know you’re going there.

Unless it hasn’t been documented he’s never visited Florida before.

To me it seems like he’s doing his due diligence and checking every box to ensure he’s making the correct decision.

I mean they can make up whatever excuses but they have to actually provide proof.

I agree on the second part but I thought he just set the date and had already announced the OV prior?
 
kid will go wherever gives him the opportunity to make the most $ (either up front or in the long run) AS HE SHOULD

he's 18, a grown *** man in the workforce

I left a job for my new one and a 40k pay bump, these kids are taking high 6 figure, low 7 figure bags and people act like they wouldn't do the same **** lmao

Want him in this class but I recommend people not get attached at the hip to any recruits from now on becuase you never know

It doesn’t matter what order its in. you schedule a commit date when you know where you’re going. If you know where you’re going then why take a UF OV?

we've had recruits give quotes about why theyre committing to a school then commit elsewhere lol.

Listen man, you’re logic makes perfect sense pre-NIL

Most still feel like we get him (myself included) but the game has changed and nobody, not you, not me, not Mario, not Florida, etc. know where this kid will sign until the last minute because someone can drop a larger bag in the 11th hour and win the commitment. It’s just the way it works

And even IF we do sign him, he could hit the portal at any moment in time. Just the way college football is now

“Florida will get an official visit from Samson Okunlola this coming weekend, which is a big deal down this final stretch of the cycle. There is reason to be confident in where Miami stands considering how long they’ve been leading in this recruitment but this is the time of year where things get muddy. Billy Napier and Mario Cristobal have been going at it on the recruiting trail and another showdown between the two Sunshine State powers is taking shape. I was getting close to Crystal Ball territory on Tuesday but wanted to hold off ahead of an important weekend with Okunlola making a decision about what to do. I’m going to wait out this Florida visit but as of Wednesday afternoon Miami is still very much alive in this recruitment.
