S. Morris

High ankle sprain would essentially make Morris indefinite for the rest of the games this year. Same problem Perryman suffered with last year.

No it wouldn't. Every sprained ankle is different and a QB is different than a LB.

I don't think Golden would have said Morris was fine if he had a high ankle sprain. Maybe a regular ankle sprang. High ankle sprains keep many player out for 2-3 week if it is severe.

Yea, that may be true.

"Fine" is a nebulous term. Didn't look "fine" when he couldn't walk down the steps without assistance.

Totally agree but it's good to see Golden not worried about it. Makes me feel better about how it is. Doesn't seem to be to bad at all. Might of just been in some good pain and the guy fell on it or just tweaked it a little bit.

he probably just rolled it, and they realized they were playing a pop warner team so they took him out. I'm sure he'll be fine for next week

I'm starting to wonder if this team would be better off with Williams anyway and I'm not joking.

Same here. NOT saying to make a switch, just saying it's a valid thought. Williams looked good.

its savannah state. last time we saw williams against real competition, he looked scared to make plays against UNC

Are you one of those dudes who focuses on one negative play or one tough appearance under bad circumstances and think that defines the player? Were you one of those dudes who never let Brandon Merriweather live down getting run over by Quincy Wilson when Brandon was a 175 pound freshmans?

no but thinking were better off with williams than morris bc williams looked good against a sacrificial lamb is knee jerk.

The only thing that game was good for was throwing the scout team a bone with some game action and getting Morris dinged up.

Is this the same ankle he had issues with last yr? Just wondering... I know with my ankle injuries they always turned a lot easier after the first time I really sprained it. So maybe thats what happened... Good thing is they always seemed to heal much faster too....

I think they will hold him out next week. Or maybe play him a half regardless of score. If it were me I would hold him out. I think we can definitely win with Williams next week. Heck, I think we could win plenty of games with Williams and it has nothing to do with tonight. I was on record in a different thread as saying I think he will be the qb next yr while everyone was saying it was a kaaya/olsen battle.
