Holy false equivalency.

Even if/when Ffrench flips to UF, Texas will still be solidly positioned in the Top 5 and they still have two other Top 100 overall commits at WR, including a 5* WR in Kaliq Lockett who's better than Ffrench. They'll still have three composite 5* commits and eight Top 100 overall commits in their class.

On the other hand, if/when Stubbs flips from us to UF, we'll have a grand total of one Top 100 overall commit and the best remaining "safety" in our class (Fitzgerald) is someone who most on the board don't even want to end up at that position due to his aversion to tackling and physicality.

The issue I had was the carry distribution between Fletcher and Martinez. We gave 13 carries to Fletcher, who averaged just 3.5 YPC. Those proved to be wasted downs in a game where Martinez was running roughshod and Ward was dialed in when protected.

With everything at stake, we needed to give Martinez 20+ carries and instead only gave him 10. We needed to abandon the committee approach and make Martinez the workhorse but failed to do so.

they both had 33 carries.... Lyle only had 11

True but, over the course of the season, they've shown improvements on defense that we haven't. They've played some good teams and they don't nearly as lost as we do on D.

I think the topic was cbs an safetys i was bein a smart ***. I think everyone is over reacting. I absolutely love popo. Lightfoot, Bain, Pickett, Blount, Scott, the other freshman DT everybody likes forgettin his name rn, OJ, the Safety #20, Mack, Day, Washington, an some others didnt even mention any Freshman comin in. We'll be alright. Think we need to hit the portal harder, We got some nice pieces on Offense too really like Lyle, Trader, Carr, Horton, Riley Willams, Schott the fresh TE might be my favorite recruit love the way he plays! We'll be fine! I get the hurt feelings! Guidry needs to go. We came a long way this year. Its not the end of the world. I still and always will love my mf Canes an i got faith in Mario! Dude loves this team and wants to get us where we need to be! He does need to get it together i think he will..
 
I heard that UF is offering these guys 25-30-% over the market rates and that’s how they’re flipping (or attempting to) flip all of these top recruits

90% of these kids will go to the highest bidder. Many will then test the portal the next year if they think they can get more.

They saw what happened to us with Cam. If you think you have to that guy at QB, which they seem to think they do with Lagway, you go all in. You have to invest in him or he will bounce so now you roll the dice that the next two years he will elevate the program. It makes senses.

Kiffin has won 8,9,10 and 11 games in 5 seasons. Mario hasn’t come close to achieving any of that yet.

Too be fair seems (and it may only seem) like similar progression. They both ended at 10 in year three and there the possibility we may end up with 11. Just saying.
