S Amari Wallace signs with the Canes

I thought using and establishing that 4 game RS would be a great outcome for year 1
I strongly doubt that would apply towards him this year. I'd imagine he takes a medical and just stays on drills throughout the year. If the depth we have acquired this offseason and the class coming in I don't really see the benefit and exposing him to more potential harm.

You think Lucas plays in safety room ? If he plays corner and Amari isn't available either all we have is Poyser, Zaquan, Markieth, and Day I think.

Lucas or Damari, or both. Imo Lucas will start at Safety with Poyser, but Zaquon will play a lot too.

I like Lucas as a free safety. I think someone mentioned here Damari would not be interested in moving to safety but I could've misread it. I am just concerned with the depth overall.

I think new DC will be very varied based on what the talent is good at.
Damari seems like the exact type of build for the "Star" position that many teams use. Doesn't seem like a pure Corner. Though last year staff wanted him as Nickel. So That fits as well.

Like I've said before:

FS: Poyser / Day / Markeith
SS: Lucas / Zaquon / Damari
Star: Damari or Lucas
Rover: Zaquon / Pruitt
Boundary CB: OJ / Damari / Karnley
Field CB: Brantley / O'Connor / Antoine
Nickel CB: Brantley or Damari

I’ve seen mention of it on here before but why is Lucas a safety here… like wasn’t he a Freshman AA at CB at Wisconsin?

Big, Fast, and physical. And he may even grow further. Not sure he has like extremely great hips or pure coverage ability or anything. I'm not saying he can't be a CB, but if you just looked at our best say 6 DBs on the roster currently, how are you assigning their positions to get the best 5 on the field the most often. Keep in mind DB doesn't rotate nearly as much as WR, and you generally need 2 CBs, 2 S, and 1 extra guy in some hybrid or nickel role the majority of plays as some variant of nickel is run like 50% of plays, and then base so only 4 DBs is run what like 20%? 6 Dbs only on field maybe 25% or less usually?

To me Lucas isn't all that different than a Stevenson, who was a CB for us but was in the Star role for UGA, and could have definitely been a pure Safety... So for me it's about just getting the best guys on the field the majority of the time. He clearly seems like the guy along with Damari that has the most variation on where we can play him. And Lucas has played Safety in HS...

Like Brantley, O'Connor, OJ are CLEARLY solely CBs. With the later two almost certainly exclusively being outside Cbs. And if you can get 2 Outside CBs and one Nickel out of those 3, that is great.
Poyser and Zaquon are clearly solely Safeties - and Zaquon is more of a box safety type (or the typical "Rover/Striker" Role). If we could get 2 starting Safeties out of those two that is obviously great as well.

But Lucas SHOULD hopefully be one of our top 4-5 DBs on the roster, right? He's certainly proven more than Damari and Zaquon, right? And clearly as of right now the most glaring/unproven "holes" on the the depth chart are second safety and nickel (depends if Brantley can fill that or if they chose Lucas/Damari to fill that).

So for those reasons, I'd want Lucas to win the starting SS job because it allows us to have the best guys on the field the most.

Yeah, makes sense. It’s a solid job by Mario flipping that room nonetheless prior to the new DC being named. That was my biggest want this off season and it should make a big difference

Played safety in hs before being moved to cb and don’t believe he made fresh AA. He was also a backup at Wisconsin and we have other guys who has actually started at cb and played at a high level like brantley and O’Connor. Also you want to get your best guys on the field. We could use a safety with speed and range that can tackle

I think it's a tough sell to move Damari to safety and keep him at 3rd string

You added this part after I responded, so to the above I will say it is not **** you (or anyone else) for saying anything positive. Wish the young man well and good health. Be happy with his progress. Cheer on his continued success and hope for the best. I'm right there with you.

But, for me, it is absolutely a giant **** you to you (or anyone else) who takes tiny snippets of information about a kid's recovery from injury and runs with it into fantasy. All it does is create unfair expectations. And if he doesn't meet those unreasonable expectations, people become disapponted and overreact emotionally.

Let the kid heal. Wait and see. And for the love of God at least wait to see him suited up in one full contact practice before opining on his contributions this season or recovery from injury.
Does this mean he's not starting at Nickel this year?

The bolded is true. Lucas is very impressive physically and showed flashes as a college Freshman, but he hasn't produced as much as OJ or Poyser (who actually were Freshman AAs). I think he and Poyser will be our starting Safeties and OJ and O'Connor starting CBs with Brantley at Nickel. Damari at Safety or Nickel and Zaquan at Star or Safety. Zaquan was not put in the right spot to succeed last year. He needs to be closer to the Line of Scrimmage.

pain management
hahaha you should have seen the fear on my patient's faces bc they were like oh man hes gonna cut us off all our pain meds now hahaha
but everyone is different
its bc im a doctor i knew what is an issue and not so I was able to push myself harder in my recovery

the sermorelin peptide was the key
its a growth hormone analogue
and it also got me ripped
in some ways breaking my leg was the best thing that ever happened to me
bc I also went cold turkey and stopped smoking after 20 years
and the TRT has also made my life so much better
How do I get you into our mpn lol, in work comp once an "injured" worker goes to pm&r, they are never going to get discharged

Time to be completely honest......

We gotta stop taking kids coming off these serious type of injuries. I don't care where they are from. We pretty much wasted a scholly for a kid we won't see for 2yrs.
He had committed before the injury, and we accepted his commitment before the injury, if it doesn’t pan out he can transfer.
