Through the Smoke podcast, Gaby says Miami wants to build up its Bama footprint (especially Phoenix City). Miami in his top group, Miami fans need to monitor this one.
I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything but I had never heard this kid's name up until a few weeks ago. How long have we been recruiting him? Have we been on him since the jump or were we late to this party like we were with Barney and Rudolph?

I'm all for building up a presence in Alabama. That state puts out more than it's share of players and Bama and Auburn can't get them all. Those schools have been coming down here to take our kids for years now. It's high time we return the favor. However, instead of a footprint, I would rather build a boot print so we can shove it right up Saban's A$$!!!

WiltBong balled this cat to FSpoo July 2.
Sucks because for a three-star, I actually like this cat more than some of our commits (I won’t name names because that will create a frenzy of hate).

Hopefully he ends up decommitting from them. He plays with reckless abandon and I love his closing speed.

Well, I will. I like this cat better than Day.. According to 247, 'Red' has a better offer sheet that includes both Bama and Auburn, Day does not. No way to spin it. Day is a project and I don't like the commit. Hope I'm wrong.

The 1st and only goal of a safety is separating the ball away at the point of contact with extreme prejudice.

GOCANES
Unfortunately, this has practically been legislated out of the game.

*apologies - couldn't find Sean Taylor laying out the skinny b*tch from FSU.

Illegal hit in the new NFHS rule book. Which covers essentially all high school football in the country. Going to be a ton of penalties the first 3-4 weeks until kids/coaches adjust. You have to now wrap up and cannot lead with your shoulder on a defenseless player….regardless of where you strike him, could be knees or back etc, it’s going to be a penalty.

You can guess that it was a major topic in our 1st clinic for the upcoming season. Thinking that this will eventually work its way up to the NFL like most rules do. Can’t have them doing it on Sunday if you don’t want them doing it Friday and Saturday

So if you can’t lead with your head or your shoulder, what are you supposed to lead with?
